I just saw on Twitter that the Canucks/Blackhawks game was the 2nd most watched first round playoff game since 2000.

The first being game 6 of the 2004 Leafs/Sens series.
Sigh.

I hope the Leafs and Sens face-off in the playoffs soon. Pure money right there.

Id rather Leafs vs. Habs I think. Leafs vs. Sens isn't as exciting as it used to be. Leafs vs. Habs would be ****in epic.

No.
I said I would like the Canucks to make it through, and went on about how I don't want the habs to get through because no leaf fan should cheer for them no matter what our pick is.

I obviously meant Sens since I talked about them right after, but yeah, my bad. I'm watching the Habs game so I just thought of them.

Leafs/Habs is more boring to me than Leafs/Sens still. But yeah, would be cool to finally meet them in the playoffs again.

here are my thoughts:

habs are our perennial rival that most clear thinking leaf fans always hate

however, we haven't played them in the playoffs in forever so the rivalry is mostly based on the past

i think from time to time, you have teams that jump and grab the #1 most hated team from them
in the early 2000s it was the sens, now it's bruins, because of the trades and crap

i am NOT cheering for montreal, i'm just cheering for boston to lose :p

it would be freakin' epic

did you guys read the bruins board? so many jobs on the line tonight

caps will take care of the habs

Habs kill it.

Have the B's scored on the PP at all this series?

That's a grim stat but at the same time the Habs have one of the best PKs. Still, not good at all.

So they take Kaberle off of the first PP unit and Seidenberg fumbles the puck causing a goal and had trouble with it all night.
