Even if the production was not there to show it, Eller was an important piece in these playoff and he was playing like a real playoff warrior. I that the guy will be a good center for us in the future.

"Qualified experts" from Boston would disagree. He never was hurt in the first place.

I'm telling you, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pass Subban as fan favourite in the next couple seasons.

I admire your optimism regarding Eller, but as long as Subban is wearing the bleu-blanc-rouge, I sincerely doubt anyone will be more popular than him. It's just the way he is out there, cockiness, super skills and all. People love that.

Still mourning, but it's good to have a community to sit shiva with.

Weird stat: We only scored 1 even-strength goal in the final 248:58 minutes, the equivalent of over four games, and more than the last half of the series (456:45 total playing time). I think that 5-on-5 our size disadvantage was exposed, but on special teams the ice opened up and we used our speed.

It will be awesome when we add size as Eller develops, more speed as DD developes, and size & speed in MaxPac.

That hurts like a *****.

Props to Eller, as I thought he played his best game last night.

After several tequila shots and a good nights sleep, it still hurts. I'm proud of our boys though, a lucky bounce here or there and we'd be going on to the next round.

Subban-Gorges
Markov-Wisniewski
Gill-Hamrlik
Weber

That's a defense that can win a Stanley Cup.

Would be among the best in the league overall, possibly the best group of offensive defensemen.

True enough, but for the last couple of seasons, we have had a rough ride on injuries...some teams worse than us, some alot better off than us...very hard to watch, and see Markov,Gorges, and MaxPac sitting in the pressbox......close series, 3 OT losses, that could have gone either way...a little puck luck and we win.

I thought they had a pretty good season. Price was amazing, and Gomez was awful, everyone else in between...overall, a pretty good season, all things considered.

Looking forward, Price and Subban are gonna be lights out for years!

Need a shutdown guy but yeah, that looks pretty sexy. Except Hammer. I love the guy but it's time.

Forget Hammerlik, its time to move on.

Try to bring in Emelin or sign a guy like Brewer/Bieksa

I'd argue Price is just as popular.

Dump Hammer for Ehrhoff and its a defence that can win.

Maybe - but PK has that irresistible flair to him.

For some reason when I picture this, it reminds me of Terminator 2 when Arnold rips the remains of his arm off when it gets stuck in the big gear and he just keeps on kicking ass.

Lars Ellenator. He'll be back.

I'm really proud of the Habs for their performance in the 1st round. Disappointed that they didn't win in overtime game 7, but just loads of heart. So much to look forward to next year.

Erhoff's a pipe dream, if he doesn't resign in Vancouver (which I think he will) other teams would be more desperate and pair more to have him then Montreal.

Bruins fans should enjoy this "victory" while it lasts. Won't be so happy when the Flyers dispose of them handily.

Emelin would be a dream come true, just to see if he has it. I think he would be perfect for the NHL, he's a hard hitter with a dirty streak in him. I believe he has a hard shot as well.

I would much rather the B's win and dispose of the Flyers...hate those clowns, led by Pronger, Richards...and Pansy pants Brierre...

I don't get the hate for Hammer... if he plays around 12-13 min, he is very effective. Plus he never gets injured.

Putting Weber instead of him is an option though.

As much as I dislike the Flyers, the Bruins are far and away my more hated team.
