The thing is the Flyers like to hurt other players.

I HATE that team.

I hope the B's win quickly (in 4 games).

Probably because The Flyers are usually the most DIRTY team in the NHL.

I think it is outstanding that the Hab's fans have been so cool.

I have to admit...If the Habs had won this past series I would have probably cheered them on over the dirty Flyers.

I really like Carey Price.

Kaberle Gets on the Board either with a good assist or the forementioned PPG.

Chara levels one of the Philly top 6 forwards.

Setting the tone in GM1 could be the difference between a 5-6gm B's win or another GM7 nailbiter
Welcome. I would LOVE to see the B's get a PP goal ASAP.

Yep, definitely excited.

I've said this before, but I expect the Flyers to keep it clean. They don't want to risk getting Boston's power play going, and with their goaltending situation, playing with an edge puts them at risk. If Laviolette decides to risk it it's up to the PP unit to make them regret it, and as their PK is nowhere near as good as Montreal's was, they ought to be able to.

I hate the Flyers more than all other NHL teams by a factor of at least 10.

LOL....I'm sure Flyer fans would dis-agree with you....but they definitely play with an "edge" and some of them definitely hover over that "edge" at times....but then again many (non Bruin fan) folks that I know tend to view the Bruins in the same light that we Bruin fans view the Flyers.

The only player on that team that I really don't like is Richards. Was talking this morning with some guys (none of whom are Bruin fans) about the Bruins/Flyers series.......we all expressed respect for the Flyers skill and toughness.....but the consensus was that Richards is a dirtbag.

I gotta be honest here, I just don't really find the Flyers all that dirty, I certainly wouldn't call them the dirtiest team in the League(Pens).

I'll concede that Richards is sorta dirty, in that he will often take advantage of a player in a vulnerable position and if he has a chance to hit a guy he will.

Pronger hasn't really done anything dirty in quite some time.

Carcillo is more of an ass clown then a dirty player, I would say he's more of a diver/mouthpiece than dirty player.

Hartnell has had his moments but since he Alberts hit has he done anything really that bad? He goes to the net hard and bumps the goalie and that's about it. He can barely stay on his feet.

Briere will sometimes get dirty with his stick. But it's not a constant in his game.

So IMO, outside of Richards, I just don't see them as "dirty".

These aren't the broadstreet bullies anymore.

I'd actually go so far as to say that Briere is by far the dirtiest player on the team. Richards is just mean. There used to be a distinction between mean and dirty, a distinction that seems to be disappearing.

You better watch it, man. You're sounding kinda sane.

Carcillo's really not a dirtbag. He dives, and he yaps, but his game is relatively clean and he's always willing to answer the bell.

I can see that, Richards doesn't really use stick work and yes he is a "mean" player. But my point was more that as far as "dirty" hits go, Richards would fall into that category on the Flyers. I'm no way saying he's on Cooke's level, but he sometimes crosses the line, but he's a guy who ALWAYS finishes his hits. Sometimes their from behind or blindside, but whatever. I think that's why he's perceived as dirty.

Briere does use his stick a lot, probably wouldn't do it as much if he wasn't 4'9" 115lbs though.

Fortunately for Richards he can make his coin as a shark in the waters of the NHL.

I'm not trying to be litigious, but it's worth noting Richards has made a conscious effort to let up on hits where guys are vulnerable since the Booth hit. He's even been quoted as saying that hit changed his attitude regarding absolutely wrecking someone.

How about all of the B's fans going to vote on the Main board to vote for the B's

Those Flyer fans are pretty sure of themselves . I understand they feel the right to be after last year...but let's support our boys !!!

The B's need to destroy the flyers.

You can argue he shouldn't have pushed him, but to not think he could've done worse is silly.

No doubt, I've seen him let up on guys he could have crushed blindside. He'll always carry that reputation, not that I think he's a truly dirty, but he finishes every check, sometimes he crosses the line. I don't know, it's hard for me to explain. I don't think he's a dirty player, although sometimes he throw questionable hits. I'll just leave it at that he can be dirty, but he's no Matt Cooke.

We haven't made it that way, Mike Richards has. In addition, he answered the bell when challenged by a Panther in that game, and against Booth in a later game played.
