I said Bruins in 6. Really just a homer vote though as I could see just about all scenarios happening except a sweep by either team.

You want to play mad men like Richards/Hartnell/Carcillo without Thornton? Not me. I'll dress Thornton every day and Sunday

Congrats from a Ranger fan.

Nice to see youse take down the Habs. Hope you can paste the Flyers, too.

Hey so is Chara ok? If you watch his slapper, it looks like 15-20 mph slower than usual. Just tired from all the minutes? Or if he nursing something?

3 things we need to see in this series

1 - the first line playing a more consistent game. I do think they will be much better against a physical Philly Team
2- the PP getting it going.
3 - Bergeron to limit his stupid penalties. He was hands down our best player against the Habs but he has to be more disciplined.

I'd add scoring on empty nets. My god Marchand and Rex alone missed 4.

Completely different beast than the Habs. Philly is a better team, but we match up with them a lot better stylistically. Hopefully the B's come out to play and didn't exhaust themselves emotionally against the Habs.

I think he`s fine, I believe by him taking something off the slapper it allows his teammates to feel a bit more comfortable standing in front of the net.

This is a far more comfortable matchup than the Habs IMO. The Flyers have good speed in Briere/Giroux, and a much better D than the Habs but playing a team who will engage them back is really the style that seems to suit this Bruin team best and clearly the Habs aren`t it.

One thing we won`t have to watch (as often at least) is consistent embellishment, and flipping the puck out of their defensive zone constantly. Love to see Johnny B line up Richards, nice and early in game 1.

Dump and chase in Pronger`s corner all series long.

What contrasting styles, going from Montreal to Philly. Goaltending will be key in this series.

Yep, our boys need to shoot from EVERYWHERE.

Thankfully, the Flyers PP is a bit better, but still, think they went 5 for 35 or thereabouts.

This will be all about goaltending IMO, and bash Pronger every shift.

Redemption!!

I need a new war cry to replace the vanquished 0-26. i'm not very creative so i'll go with the obvious 0fer on the PP. what are we up to now, 0-21??

Yeah, Seguin`s showed as an 18/19 year old kid how he rises to the occassion in physical games. C`mon Vic, would he help the PP?? Well, he and Marchand moved it around nicely when given the chance but produced little else so why would it happen now?

Thornton`s presence is much more necessary against a pile of tool boxes that they have in Philly.

oh God yeah! if you're not gonna play the kid against the habs then there's no way you throw him in there against Philly.

He`d get killed and overwhelmed. The kids will bring Bruin fans out of our seats down the road, right now, he`s a rookie who`s in the learning stages and I just don`t see how his presence, while taking someone out like Thornton would be wise. We live in a need it yesterday time and patience just isn`t a luxury fans give their respective teams and players.

If Chia or Cam felt he HAD to play or was even ready to play, you have to think, he`d be in the lineup.

This is a far better matchup stylistically for the Bruins than MTL. I think the main difference is that Philly has more elite skill up front, but the big question will be in net for them. It could honestly go either team's way because they're both pretty similar in terms of depth. Should be a much more enjoyable series based on Philly not being olympic divers alone.

I picked Philly in 7 just for continuity purposes. The B's seem to do much better when I don't expect them to win the series.

This I know. I was chatting with a co-worker about day games and how it seemed the B's didn't do that well and was curious if anyone knew.

It's been terrible the entire year, and it still hasn't been fixed.

I thought Jarvis was brought in for the PP. If he was, can his butt now.

Bruins in 4. Finish what we started last year.

Yes I am very tired and still riding high from last night so my judgement is probably not the best right now

Is there a betting line going on which skilled player Richards injures yet? I may put 5 on Marchand

I'm hearing that Habs fans are jumping on the Bruins bandwagon and rooting for us over the Flyers
