how about we not allow any shorties in game 1 and then build from there? baby steps.

Might be the case, but he was pretty average in all the other games....IMO, they won 1-0 because Philly sux those games...kinda like when Price SO Boston.

Either way, I'm confident in Thomas against the Flyers...and watching Boucher...im confident will score too

SHould be a fun series

Bruins in 6, I feel a lot more confident going into this series than I was going into the Habs series. We had a positive record vs Philly this year, Thomas is a lot better than Boucher, we just need the first line to get hot. This series favors the Lucic-Horton tandem a lot better which should help take pressure from the second and the third line if the first line will be chipping in this series.

I'm hearing a lot of this, how the hell is Miller better than Thomas, last I saw Miller isn't even close for Vezina nomination while Thomas WILL win the vezina, oh and Miller always chokes up in the big games.

Lucic and Horton will get a healthy dose of Pronger who is much better than Gill.

Picked B's in 4 because I picked them in 4 last round and we won but i think it'll go 7.
Philly trolls here already. I would hate to be a mod by the time game 5 rolls around.

Pronger isnt healthy...dude can barely take a slapper.

If we get on him quick, will be fine.

Use the 3-0 blown lead of last year? 3-0 to 3-4?

Lucic didnt do anything last year in R1 against buffalo but had 3g in R2 against the Flyers. I think PHI is a better match up for him

Question to all of you:

Most would agree that Laviolette is a better coach than Julien, most would agree Philly has a lot more depth and talent than Boston. So, if the Bruins play hard and take it to 7 games, but lose in the end, do you still want Julien gone?

I know many of you want him gone now, but for those in the middle, like myself, how do you feel about it?

Let's see who wins the Vezina. It certainly won't be Miller.

I dont agree with this at all. Yes miller was great last year. but if you had to pick a goalie to play in a game this year you'd be foolish not to go with timmy he's been the best goalie in the league this season. miller has played subpar for what he is capable of. my roommate is a buffalo fan and he was more than fed up with miller all season and in parts of the playoffs.

if you were selecting a franchise goaltender it would be a very different discussion but just for a series this season i think timmy takes it.

I think you'll see boston win 3 straight then set back and philly will steel one in Boston. After that boston will get so nervous for another comback they will treat game 5 as game 7 and finish them off...

Bruins in 5. We have their number if you come out to play and dont sit back... plus I think Thomas is a better goalie then Rask now, thats a huge plus for the B's this time around as well.

BRUINS in 5! GO B'S!

Carter suffered a pretty bad knee sprain in game 4 and hasn't played since. He's listed as probable to return sometime this series.

I cannot wait for this series. I have a feeling there will be blood.

I feel bad rocking this avatar, but since I've switched to it, we're 4-1, so out of superstition, the avatar will remain.
