Sharks win it in OT off a wicked Wings stick deflection.

Love the work rate of these two teams. Should be the best CS series.

Interesting, though, that both DET & WSH come out disappointed in their Game 1 efforts after long breaks.

Flyers pounding makes a our defeat yeterday a little easier to stomach. I'm still convinced we'll face them in round 3, and now its almost assured they will be in for a long series too.

The Bruins winning this series would only make a Caps' loss that much more painful seeing as that they match-up better against Boston.

Great game in Vancouver. Rinne coming up big.

Heading to double overtime.

Matt Halischuk ties up the series, late in double OT. Not sure a game has gone that long in the playoffs so far (94:51).

Rinne's goal is the save of the playoffs, however had Bieksa not shot center mass it would have been an easy goal.

No one has lost at home yet, but that's an impressive showing from the Sharks after two games.

How does the ref and goal judge miss that goal? NHL has a series reffing issues that they seem to refuse to do anything about.

And now Boston goes up 2-0 on the Flyers. WTH is going on in the East?

Quite frankly that series might be over: as bad as our predicament might be, little to no chance Flyers go in to Boston and win a single game (let alone two of them).

Disagree. That team is so deep and has every ability to grind the series out. I'm still taking them against the Bruins, despite being down 2-0. They outplayed the B's in game 2 and still lost.

I think their chances take a huge hit if Bouch is out. I'm not sure if Bob is going to react in a good way when the Bruins start shelling him. The shelling will happen by the looks of the first two games.

That sounds eerily familiar to last year...but I agree.

The Caps match up fairly well against Boston, too.

It probably speaks poorly of my character, but watching McQuaid try and throw that elbow then hurt himself had me laughing for about 5 minutes.

I'm probably not a very good person.

Agreed to an extent. The Flyers know better than anyone that the series isn't over until you lose that fourth game. That being said, Boston is playing very well also.
