Your post camp thoughts...

I thought McKenna emerged as the next #1 in Milwaukee once he graduates St Lawrence...

Radulov has all assortments of shots, and told the RHF to piss off to come to North America and start his pro career alot sooner than everyone thought

Klein has exceptional speed for a dman...unreal with the puck in the cone race today.

major disappointment: for a second straight year Ryan Suter decides to "take time off" while Mike McKenna and Kaleb Betts man up to come down to Nashville for a week.

I was impressed with niskala's speed, too. Although, from what I saw I'd put klein #1 of the d-men that were there. It's hard to really judge them on their defensive skills as not many of the drills I saw the past 2 on-ice pratctices were "defense oriented."

And Radulov. wow. can't wait until he develops even more and wears a pred uni. I take back my showboating comments. I think he's just super-enthusiastic and he seemed to really be having fun out there with all the guys (especially upshall).

P.S. anyone have any idea who won the fastest skater comp. today?

Collegiate players CAN come to camp.

They just have to pay for everything themselves...Room/Board, transportation, food, etc.

I don't think it's unusual for College hockey players to NOT come...rather the opposite.

All I'm saying is that the Suter Family certainly has the expendable income to send their son to a rookie camp; if not hit up Uncle Gary for some help, especially when McKenna and Betts are able to make the journey!

He definitely looked the most NHL-ready IMO. I thought he looked good and seemed to be having a good time. He overall appeared to just carry himself differently than the rest of those guys (in a good way).

I think Sulzer showed he had definitely improved over last year. He seemed more comfortable on our ice and had some chemistry going with several of the other defensemen.

I think in 1 more year, he'll be ready.

That's great to hear, thanks Patty. I was just a bit worried how he would be after the mugging event, but sounds like he's doing great!

I asked him how he was doing after the mugging. He told me that he had concussion symptoms for a few days after the mugging but he felt that he had fully healed.

From what I saw on the ice, I'd say that he's healed well.
