I don't get why people don't celebrate goals. Why not? Even if you are down 5-0 and then you score a goal to stop the shutout, I'd have a smile on my face and maybe a fist pump.
Hell, Hamhuis didn't even raise his stick. He just had a dull, expressionless look on his face and showed no emotion. Even for his profile pic on NHL.com, I can't even tell if that's a smile.
What is there to celebrate? Outside of events that transcend the significance of a hockey game (mortal injuries, concussions etc.), winning is the only thing that matters.

The only thing.
At least show emotion. I've seen more emotion out of guys that scored the first goal for a team that just gave up 6 goals before that one, and near the end of the game too.
Man I hate the Canucks. Damn Vigneault is constantly whining about the judges' or the League's decisions in interviews. Such sissies. I really hope the Sharks make it to the finals.

Yeah not many people seem to be rooting for the 'Nucks. Between their fans..well and their fans i'm no fan at all and i'm Canadian.

I'd like to see some emotion butnothing drawn out. A fist pump and some intensity is the best way to deal with a goal, something that acknowledges it without losing too much focus.
That's what you call those guys in the black and white stripes in Vancouver, good to know
But seriously the game was ruined by the officials yesterday. The endless trips to the box for both teams was just ridiculous. It's the playoffs, let them play.
Big loss to Detroit in terms of personnel, but that's a hell of a lot of free cap space they have coming off the books, especially with Lidstrom coming off the books as well.
Whatever though, it's not like he's leaving empty handed, he can still walk into a bar and say "I got three Stanley Cup rings and two silver medals, what do you have B****es"
