Will be in attendance for this one. Look to keep my streak going, attended Games 2 and 5 of the first round resulting in Caps wins of 2-0 and 3-1 against the Rangers.

Caps win this one 5-2
Ovie
Backstrom
Laich
Fehr
Green

I hope Fehr scores and pushes Sturm to the bench should Knuble ever return. Sturm looks fine but I havent seen him elevate his game. He is too happy for the playoffs. I want angry players willing to battle.

If Carlson cant go will we get Collins or Sloan? I hope its Collins.

If Nick cant rack up any points, I want to see MJ90 promoted to our top line. Nick can be a checker for a while.

We need ov's line to play well and we will win. Tampa's D is not very good in the zone as shown in the first half of the game yesterday. Also the caps need to transition quickly so the bolts don't get set up in their stupid little 1-3-1. Caps in 5!

The Canadian media has been ripping him hard up here and calling him a "playoff bust" after Friday night's game.

No doubt that he needs to show up if the Caps expect to win this series.

It looks like Gagne and Kubina are most likely out with "upper body" injuries that are obviously concussions. I think they'll miss those two more on the PP than anywhere else but it's a hit on their overall depth nonetheless.

i hope they jump them like every team in the playoffs does, the caps still give up periods in playoff hockey.

they can't pin it on any of the usual suspects this year. so, they have to find someone new. it would be nice if he brought something more. i dont think they need him so long as 8, 28, and 52 keep performing up to their standards. at this point 90 is replacing all of 19's missing production and backstrom is playing defensively as well as anyone.

Hoping Ovi's apparent self-anger after game 1 is carried over into this game in the form of effort. Backstrom, well, whatever - don't expect anything from him. Neuvirth - time to step up and lock them down until the Caps prove they can score more than 2.

Calling out Backstrom is entirely warranted.

Home ice, they're without a top 6 forward and top 4 D. Granted, the Caps are missing exactly the same things, but still: NO excuses not to win this hockey game.

Agreed

Haven't seen anything from him the entire playoffs that warrants giving him a jersey every night.
