Dude Kimmo coughed up the puck and they were set up perfectly in front of the net. That was a big defensive mistake. Boosh gave the Flyers every chance to win this game, they just couldn't get it by Thomas.

I'll bet you people quitting on the team were the same ones that didn't watch games 4-6 last year, and left after the first game 7. Seriously, find a new team.

Thomas stole a game..plain and simple. NONE OF OUR GOALTENDERS have done the same yet 9 games into the playoffs. We've had good goaltending but not playoff goaltending. It's pretty clearcut. Having said this..our D is not helping matters whatsoever.

We dominate from midway through the 2nd til the very end and lose on 1 awful, lazy ****ing play by the Timonen.

This has been the issue both of the first 2 games. The defensive coverage has been, for the most part, flat out lazy. Timonen just let's a routine puck by him for a turnover, and no one feels like being in the slot to cover a wide open krecji. No one seems to want to play defense. You have got to be kidding me.

Agreed. I bet the Caps fans are giving up too, right?

Nah Last year, they actually beat the devils convincingly and were playing good at the moment. We squeeked by the Sabres and lost another game because the team showed up, but not 100%. Marchand goal and the other goal were pretty weak. There is enough blame to go around. Even if we won this game, you still can't be happy with Game 1. Its pathetic that a team can look like an ahl team one game and and an NHL powerhouse the next. We also had 100% healthy Pronger most of the playoffs.

Gift goal in the first still counts even if the last one wasn't the goalie's fault.

You can't win games giving away unscreened goals from 30+ feet.

No one buries every single chance they have...Briere is the last person to blame for this lost, he has earned the benefit of several doubts by his past post season play.

Yea, there is no reason to give up on this team until the final horn, but if we don't win the next game... oh man, I don't think we can make the same comeback as last year.

Thomas deserves some serious credit he was outstanding. However Boosh gives a weak @ss golve side goal that should have been a routine save. Hopefully Lavi wakes up and starts Bob game 3.

Granted Thomas stole that one, but it should've been 2-1 Flyers going to the 3rd period! That second goal changed the game! And the OT goal? That should've been a save to keep your team in the game. I love Boucher but he has got to go!

Hey man you can doubt, but you never stop following and never stop hoping. That's what it's all about. I promise you I didn't go to Chickie's to watch game 4 with a smile on my face...but I still watched and I still cheered.

In Kimmo's defense, the referee kind of boned him there. The puck was wrapping around and the ref straddled it, letting it go through his legs. I'm sure he had a hard time following the puck all the way in there. He didnt have much time to react once the puck got through the referee.

Not saying the referee could have made any other play, but it might have affected him.

Really devastating considering we completely outworked them.

I've honestly never felt this sad since we lost to Chicago in game 6

You're right, no one buries every single chance, but you can guarantee people would want a riot if that was Carter.

Yea he gave up a softie, but if you get 54 shots on goal, I except 2 GAA to be sufficient to win.

bouncing puck behind him is hardly an opportunity. Even if he gets a stick on it there's no guarantee it goes in the practically empty net.

There's no need to over analyze or find a scapegoat. Tim Thomas stole the game. It happens.

Series isn't over.

Why are people saying Boosh gets no blame?

Boosh let in two goals that most other NHL goaltenders could save in a time like this.

Its not like they were from weird angles or they were unexpected/sudden shots or even deflections, it was right in front of him with no screen and he still couldn't stop them
