Well... the morning after last year's Game 1 I woke up from a dream that we had lost 2-1, and believed it really happened. I didn't remember that we had actually won 4-1 because I got TANKED quick. In fact, JohniusMaximus was there. There were pictures of me asleep in the floor just inside of the front door...
Going into the playoffs, I miss Cube and the minutes he would eat up.
Blum= more dynamic, better puckmover, smarter overall with the puck. Seriously the guy rarely shows any indication of being a rookie. Boullion might have been more steady and provided a few big hits but I'll take Blum any day of the week right now.
Just think the last few years how much PP time Boullion has got. Thank god Blum neutralizes that.

That's a good point. Not sure what we would do then. Probably go get Laasko or Aaron Johnson from the Ads would be my bet. That's a terrifying prospect.

Still playing 18 minutes of playoff hockey is different than regular season hockey.
Maybe it's just my nerves. But looking at how much Weber/Suter play per game on average, then Klein then it's a big drop to the rest of the guys makes me somewhat nervous.

Not really, it's just intense pretty much 100 percent of the time compared the the regular seasons where teams take some games easier than others. We have played lots of intense and important games down the stretch and Blum has handled them like a vet. I expect the playoffs to be no different.
Laakso played in one game this season. He's totally ready to be the 7th d-man.
Totally forgot about that- I feel so much better. Plus we could just recall Belak from waivers and put him back in his natural Dman position. Our options are nearly endless!
How about Marty's status??? PREDS CANNOT, CANNOT, CANNOT throw in another 5 s.o.g. performance in a period against a team who can get 5 s.o.g. in one minute. I'm also REALLY hoping we find out why #35 was chosen over #39 in goal.
