Don't give bruins fans the satisfaction of watching them win the series at home.
LET'S GO FLYERS!
That's ok, we'd rather win in your house and have the satisfaction of sending your fans home knowing their season is over.
Anyway, I think you guys have this one.
I dont know, just a hunch. No one likes to get swept, I think they have the energy. Plus the Bruins hate 3-0 leads.
Bob has played great when coming in in games, perhaps with a 60 minute effort from him, things will sway to your side.
I also expect a good game from Richards. He's been pretty non existant no offense, so I think with the extra adrenaline knowing tonight could be his last game for this season, he'll really step it up a notch, unless of course he's hurt and not saying it.
All in all, good luck tonight. If things go well for you, then well see you Sunday! If they don't then best of luck to everyone and I really hope your team can fix the goalie situation on the off season.
Philly really would have an outstanding team if goaltending wasn't such an important aspect. With a good goalie, the flyers would be an extremely difficult team to play against.
I will be watching with one eye closed but I will still cheer my team until the bitter end. Does anyone know if NHL network is airing the game tonight since San Jose - Detroit is on VS?
Where is the positivity? There will be plenty of time for negativity in the off season. Why would you want to see our team lose? It starts with one game. They just need to go out and get this one and we ride from there. As the great Captain Jason Nesmith said, "Never give up. Never surrender." Let's go Flyers!

Win or Lose...go out there and have fun - play some Flyers hockey and give the fans something enjoyable to watch. At least if you play the sport with enjoyment, maybe you can build some morale for next year so you don't look like a bunch of old men who just lost their puppies.
For pete's sake, you get to play a sport for a living - most of us sit at desks, mesmorized by our computer screens - why so sullen?
Idk if its bc I haven't really looked at the general discussion boards this series or if its bc we r being just totally manhandled as a team but I will say that bruins fans do a lot less trolling than slugs fans

I kind of agree. Bruins fans on HF are pretty much like flyers fans.....perpetually tortured by their team.
If Bob doesn't start, and get enough slack on his leash to stick out the whole game (even in spite of a rough start) just to see what he's made of, then F this team.
At this point, we're screwed. Let's let the kid play and try to build something for the future.
I'd like to see Lavy throw a curve ball at them and switch Carter and Briere. Have Leino-Carter-Hartnell/Versteeg-Richards-Briere. If Boston learned anything from last year it was how to shut down that Briere line...moving him off it might make things a little harder, and there is no clear match up for them against the Krejci line.
Forget everything Jeff Reese ever told you. At the beginning of the year, you were the fastest, most instinctive goalie I've ever seen. As the year wore in, it was clear you were thinking too much and looked less and less natural. Don't worry about how you're stopping the puck, just stop it. An inferior talent shouldn't tell Mozart how to play the piano.

I see at least 1 maybe 2 problems with this. Briere is much better at center. Also, coming off of his injury I don't know if Carter is able to do the skating needed to play center right now. He might, but I'm not sure on that one. But I'm positive Briere is better playing center than wing.
