Wing fans will complain that we should have gotten more penalties when this one's done and we are moving on.

1 Goal Game going into the third... I know I'm satisfied with this, especially after that start.

If you were asked before the game started if you would be ok with that score. 90% of you would.

Much more even period. Time to turn it up in the third

Same score as last game going into the third...I'd love the same result, but in regulation.

yah so far so good. just score one, win it in ot. but its tough. refs are clearly and blatantly trying to win it for the wings.

They showed pretty good composure. Killed off three penalties and scored another goal. Keeeeep it up.

Down one going into the 3rd. Easily take that after the start.

Am I crazy or are the refs looking the other way for Detroit's interference in the neutral zone?

If the second period flow continues, we are sealing the deal tonight. Wings look like they're out of steam, we didn't dominate, but we definitely put the clamp down.

I really don't think there's any question SJ is a better team.

Scott Nichol has been outplayed by the refs.

We have to get him on the ice more.

They put everything they had in the first period. I don't believe detroit can keep the pace they need to keep to score like they did in the first.

I really liked our second period. We came out very competitive and if not for the penalties we took, I think we'd have had more pressure.

I think we're really going to bring more in the third period. DRWs have already put their 100% effort in the first and are looking a little out of sync.

I'm just hoping the Sharks come out and play their tail off in this third period knowing that if they score a few goals they can end this series NOW. Play it like the series is tied 0-0 and this is a must win for the Sharks...

Still, being down 3-2 isn't too bad considering these ridiculous refs and that gift wrapped goal because of a missed offsides.

You're not crazy. And it's been happening for years. And that's not hyperbole.

Seen quite a lot of it in this game.

Luckily the Sharks show more composure than their fans

...which wasn't usually the case in previous years

My only concern is that the Sharks may let up a bit and give up a goal early.

This third period would be the perfect time for the refs to even it up and somehow hook us up with a 5 on 3. Then we score once or twice and Wings fans will crash hfboards with their whining.
