Game is on TMac imo. Detroit is pressing and the ice is tilted, and he doesn't take a time out when your key players are gassed. Instead he puts out Nichol with the 3rd line who has zero chemistry with them. Plus Wellwood is on the bench, and he has the least goals against when on the ice compared to the entire team.
Good effort by the team to battle until the end, but TMac dropped the ball on this one.
I haven't complained much about the reffing in this series even though it has been horrendous, but tonight it was off the scale. It was so badly tilted toward Detroit it wasn't even trying to be hidden. As Keith Jones said, you really have to try hard to get called on a penalty in an elimination game (as the team facing elimination) and it was ****ing ridiculous in favor of the Wings tonight.
On the last goal, the Sharks were just ****ing mugged and no calls, no more important mugging that the guy who was going to the point and would have probably beat the point man to the puck. He had a step and got totally chopped.
