Read from PSCrunchHockey that Yawney said it isn't clear on whether or not Etem will play the first night back because he "needs to talk to Etem first"
What?!? The dude could be a mute, if he puts pucks in the net that's all that matters.

Be glad at least that Dolgon isn't the one that needs to talk to him.
So Etem can play in playoffs for Syracuse as well?
Its funny if we will choose to pick Dumba in draft. Dumba has mentioned Etem as one of the guys he doesnt like to play against and one day we might see them both play on the same team
Edit: Is there any confirmation will Etem play tonight against Rochester?
Habit? This is the first time he's slumped after being sent down.
After checking, I was being too harsh. But it's definitely not his first slump.
Recalled 11/3/2010 from Syracuse after going 7+2 in 9 games. Demoted 11/20, went 4+6 and -19 over the next 24 games.
Recalled 12/9/11 from Syracuse after going 17(!)+9 in 26 games. Demoted 12/30, goes 4+1 in 5 games, though he was scoreless and a minus player in 3 of them. Then...
Recalled 1/8/12 and demoted 1/17/12, 1 game, 2 goals. Recalled 1/21 and reassigned 1/22, goes 4+1 in 3 games. THEN...
Recalled 2/1/12, demoted 2/3, goes 6+7 in 11 games.
One last recall on 3/12, and his final demotion on 3/26, where we have the big slump he's in now.
So it looks like I'm way off in my head, because I think of him as a sulky little weasel, clearly undeserved to that extent. But not his first time, either. And you could also make an argument that he's bounced around a lot and persevered pretty well through it.

I didn't consider last season, I just remember this season Hayward raving on about how he was up and down like a yoyo and still put up goals in Syracuse. It is a pretty bad time for him to slump this time, it wouldn't surprise me if having NHL success for the first time might have gotten to his head a bit.

From what I see just watching games here in Syracuse is that when Bonino is centering Palmieri, not only does he score he plays ok in both ends. He is not a complete 2 way forward with him but he is more responsible and they have a bond together playing hockey. Bones is the more complete player at this time and that's why he has spent a majority of time in the NHL. At the AHL level these two along with Maroon are unstoppable. I think Bones can adapt to whatever role he is given and Palms needs some work on that but next year in training camp Boudreau would be wise to put them on a line together and see what happens . They really show scoring compatability together.

Hope he does, then. It's a shame he can't find chemistry with Holland.
Tarkki was awesome. IMO he is the best goaltender the Crunch has ever had. I love watching the responsible defensive game from both teams. It was not sloppy and both teams had to earn their scoring chances. Tomorrow is a big scoreboard watching day for us.
