Compare what we gave up for Watson and Mckegg and what we gave up for Tavares and Delzotto

Chase Hatcher/Dane Fox/Donnay/ 4 2nds (2 from Dorazio.Desousa deal) or
Christian Thomas/Michael Zador/Scott Valentine 4 2nds and 3 3rds....

One thing for sure is Mark will mix them up for abit to see who has that chemistry.
I see McKEgg with Domi.
Any1 can play with the Ruperts.
I have no idea but hers a stab

Knihgt/NAmes/Griffith-based on last year success-the 3 havent played alot as a group
McKegg/Domi/AA could see AA move down and Id love Horvat to get a shot up here somewhere jsut for experience
Rupert x2/Watson-Watson fits in anywhere but as a checcking unit they may just outscore opponents-Watson prolly moves up thou
Anderson/TierneyWelcka/Horvat/Ferry
Ok I give up I cant make it work all neat and pretty, theres too many guys and combos that make sense
Well know in a couple weeks

Tinordi/HArrington
Hughes/Matta
Cook/Raine/Martin/

Ill only gaurantee Houser is the gaolie

If everything goes as planned, I'm looking forward to these two teams squaring off in the OHL finals

You wanna wreak havoc on one line? Plug Watson in with the Rupert's

Just because it's not as high a price doesn't mean it's "absolutely nothing".

If I did not know better I would think that you were Mark Hunter patting himself on the back.

Sol is on Kitchener's roster and the O/A trade deadline was today at noon. So we have to sign a free agent if we want to fill the third O/A spot. Metro119 are you hearing names we're kicking tires on? As I said in an earlier post the only O/A so far that has been squeezed out that I know of is Ben Dubois in Ottawa. Or we could go and get someone from the Q or the Dub.

That was my first guess in line combos in above in post.

Mark definitely has options and solid depth everywhere but goal. Theyre going to have to settle on a BUG and get him some games. With this lineup there is no reason not to.

A replacable player with off-ice issues and a defensive project who didn't want to be in London, it's a s close to nothing as you can get

Random Thought May be way out in left field but Owen Sound did release the rights to Joey Hishon today to cut down on overagers, since knights are sitting pretty good any chance they pick up his rights?

No

The Knights have no use for Hishon, thier forwards are set. They will not be adding another player unless they subtract at least one more. They have no bodies than they know what to do with.

I don't understand the need to fill that OA spot

Agreed, too many forwards now with same 60 minutes to play in.

areknights, Cook was not brought here to play the 5 or 6 slot, he is a vet with experience and much more than Hughes. But both are good so no problem there.

Tinordi/ Maatta
Harry/ Cook
Hughes/ Raine, Martin..................when healthy. And now no tandem has to play 25 minutes a night.

Tinordi/HArrington
Hughes/Matta
Cook/Raine/Martin/

We don't need an OA forward. Dubois has been a filler everywhere he's gone and keeps getting dumped. We have enough as is. 2 good forwards are going to have to sit at some point and I"m hoping Horvat isn't one of them.

Adding a Dubois is basically asking does he beat out Brett Welychka for a spot

Hardly.

play off

Fill the spot with a veteran player and don't worry about hurting someones feelings, playoffs are a different breed and you don't know who's going to respond to the pressure and 2 months of intense hockey. Don't take any chances

I agree lots of F and only 60 min. A battle for ice time for sure.

On D Simon I just went by past matchings
Tinordi/harrington- shut down pair- ESP at home with last change.
Hughes/Matta- had dEcent chemistry this year
Cook/Raine/Martin/Flemmington/ferry- I'd go Raine and Cook but we no that won't happen
I could see them mixingup the pairings for sure and didn't mean to say Cook will be #5. I think we got 2 guys as top notch, and a group of 3 in the next tier( Matta still a bit young to throw in Tinner/ Harry level)

Where does Martin fit in? I'm sure he still gets minutes somehow.
But where can mark fit him in. He's not a top 12 F or a top 6 D. People Are going to be pissed. Because somehow Mark will get him minutes lol.

I'm still not convinced we're stable in goal. Wonder if Mark is thinking the same thing?
