Probably none, Rundblad might to adjust to the North American style.
Cowen may not *need* any right now...but it's great he's getting them. Couldn't be happier with what I saw from him last night. I think people in Ottawa are going to really enjoy what could come of Cowen-Karlsson.
Hoffman knew he needed to get bigger and stronger to have a reasonable chance at an NHL career. After the Sens training camp, Murray said it was the only thing keeping him from being successful.
I would expect him to be working with the Sens training staff this summer to put some muscle/weight on. If he comes to camp at 185, I would expect him to be a significantly better player next year.
Yeah after watching him on the point last night you can just see he has a natural shot...could take it off one foot moving laterally. He handles the puck, he sees the ice. I think Tim Murray said 2 more years in Bingo. This is how the good orgs do it....sometimes guys are ready quick...but sometimes you take the extra couple years to develop a guy with top 6 tools. Whether he makes it or not is purely up to him, sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.
Think about it....was Bobby Butler closer to the NHL than Mike Hoffman was at the same age? Butler might be the purer scorer...Hoffman IMO has the purer shot.
Did Hoffman get some PP time at the first PP unit in the regular season? I was a little bit surprised that he played at the blue line in the PP. Maybe this will change when D. Smith or Wiercioch return. But nevertheless i am happy that he gets a chance and steps up. I remember he was benched in the first couple of games against Manchester.
German Senator: Mike Hoffman did have a bit of PP time up front, not much but a little.
Mike did get a lot more PP time on the point.
Hoffman is very skilled as others have said, he needs to get bigger & stronger. Also if he could get a step faster that would generate a lot more chances for him...........
Penguins blow their 3-0 lead with 15 minutes to go in a game they have to win and Charlotte takes the series. Bring on the Checkers
Anyone have an idea when Game 3, 4, and 5 are? I may head down to Bingo for one or two. And speculation of dates?

Lets just pick somewhere between complacency of getting into the 3rd round after years of no playoffs and CUP...and wait for the fun to begin.
Any word on reinforcements? That Cowen addition was something we really never penciled in...if we can get a couple back this roster is probably as good as any.
Getting Cowen will be the key until Grybes and Schira are back, I don't think we'll see Hale(illness) Smitty(concuss) Columbine(concuss) or Weircoch(worse then diagnosed) the remainder of the playoffs..
