which is to say you'll be shopping Boyes and his 4mil?

I don't believe we will. Ruff wants 3 scoring lines.

Actually, the implication of that roster is that both Morrisone and Kotalik (~5mil combined) will be in Rochester/Europe/cap floor team.

Boyes gives us great wing depth and I can't see him being moved when there are two useless plugs in the aforementioned players eating cap space.

I'm expecting big things from the Canucks expansion cousins. Good luck Sabres fans.

I haven't been this excited about the Sabres since probably the 2006-2007 season. Can't wait for the season to get underway.

Is this a joke? Their defense is by far the worst in the NHL.

Hall - Gagner - Eberle
(Gagner gets his shot to up his stock)
Smyth - Nugent-Hopkins - Hemsky
(2 vets for the Nuge to get comfortable)
Pajaarvi - Horcoff - Omark
(Horcoff helps this line in its own end)
Eager - Belanger - Jones
(Tough, high energy line with a possibilty of an offensive flare)
Hordichuk, Brule

Whitney - Gilbert
(Still question Gibby's game, seems to be on the decline. Hope he can keep up to Whit)
Smid - Barker
(Both guys need to step it up, especially as the 2nd pairing)
Peckham - Sutton
(Tough to play against down low, but I'm worried about the foot speed)
Petry

Khabibulin
(Its still Khabby's job to lose apparently)
Dubnyk
(If Khabby faulters and Dubs shines, he's the #1)

Cogliano gets out played at camp by the Nuge and loses his job as an Oiler.
