Of all the European prospects, I am most intrigued with Jesper Fasth, especially after his performance in the WJC. He stood out the most of any of the Rangers prospects, besides Kreider in the Bronze metal game.

Those are some bold words, hopefully he comes over after next season and plays well enough in the AHL to warrant a spot in the Rangers lineup sometime in the future.
Lindberg could be a really good pickup as well but hopefully Fasth continues to progress the way he has. If he can he's going to shoot up our list I think.
Sounds like Leslie also expects Pashnin to sign this summer. Did not think that was happening but I like it.
I think Oscar Lindberg might be a nice surprise for you. He is described as a defensive center and maybe that's what he amounts too, but he sometimes shows some qualities that makes me think he could break out offensively. He played mostly on a checking line, but is still a pretty creative player, it's also nice that he seems to elevate his game during the playoffs. I think he will get a bigger role for his Sel-team next year. Fasth and Lindberg is both interesting prospects, neither of them is a sure thing but they both have a pretty decent chance to pan out.

Since the Rangers have never promised him a one-way and Kveton has seen that his fellow Euros start (and sometimes stay) in the AHL, I don't believe that they will be able to convince him to come over.

Could they offer him a deal similar to the one Montreal gave their recent KHL signing? A deal that if he doesn't make the Rangers he can go play in Europe.

The Rangers could, but have not. Also not sure that Kveton would take it at this point.

Me too man. He just seems like he could be real special. A lot of people seem to think he has some seriously unrealized offensive potential. For now, I'm just real pumped that we could see a real Faceoff GOD in the circles soon.
This was nicely done. I'm super excited to see how Fasth looks in development camp. Pashnin expecting a contract is great news too. I think he could play a style that the team really needs on defense. Also, Hagelin and Kreider are really exciting. It should be an good year as far as prospects are concerned.
I have read a lot of articles on how it went for Pashnin in the last season. From these articles I got a sense that KHL might prevent him (through lucrative contact special bonuses etc) from leaving their league. It would make sense because he was the first ever draft pick and it wouldn't look good for the system if he'd left so soon.

Being taken number one in that draft means very little. It's not like being taken number one in the NHL Entry Draft; rather, that KHL draft is the junior-aged players that aren't already in a team's junior program. It would be like if we had a separate draft for everyone that wasn't drafted in the entry draft.

Been saying it all along...Fasth was just as important to Sweden as Kreider was to the US during the WJC. Fasth was great during the WJC while Horak was a terrible disapointment. Fasth is going to be another player to challenge Grachev for that top6 prospect role. Grachev needs to get his act together and show he is legit because his time is running out.

This guy wrecks people and plays a very physical game. He was picked 1st in the KHL because he was so talented. He wasn't touched by NHL clubs because he was Russian not because he wasn't any good. I'm super excited that his contract is running out. I hope NY promotes Vtank to the big club so he sees that they develop from within and he can make it. I'm very excited about the info about this kid!
Think Darius Kasparaitis or Ulf Samuelson. Pair that kind of guy with McIlrath and its just not fair as a shutdown pair. Hit them, agitate them...don't like it, Undertaker kicks their ass. Every top lines nightmare.
