UFA Rankings... I need a life!

I've composed here a list of UFA's in priority order... a number of things factor into this (needs, best player, price, feedback from others, etc.) I know Shanahan and Demitra have shown disinterest in coming here. I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me if any of the players on this list have made similar assertions.

1. Adam Deadmarsh - I think he could be the saving grace on LW...
2. Yanic Perreault
3. Andreas Johansson - very versatile, valuable for any team, played well here...
4. Eric Lindros - doubtful... but he might be the best bet.
5. Paul Kariya - for obvious reasons, although this team makes these moves all too much...
6. Martin Rucinsky - played well last season
7. Michal Nylander
8. Jason Allison - see Lindros...
9. Alexei Zhamnov
10. Vinny Damphousse
11. Ziggy Palffy
12. Petr Nedved
13. Magnus Arvedson
14. Glen Murray
15. Dean McAmmond
16. Brad Isbister
17. Teemu Selanne

If goalie is an issue to Slats, its as follows...
Tommy Salo, Kevin Weekes, Chris Osgood

So? Neither did Lindros.

I'd take a flyer on Deadmarsh for a low base salary and an incentive-filled contract.

i cant find all that much to disagree with this ranking. Perreault may be a bit high ( i might swap with Arvedson or Murray), but not bad.

well one positive to signing deadmarsh and lindros would be that when they both get hurt 2 weeks into the season (if deadmarsh is even cleared to play) then sather can use injuries as an excuse while we cruise to a bottom 3 finish :lol

Great choice. As long as the Rangers don't throw a ton of money at him it really isn't much of a risk.

the rangers are rebuilding. Finishing third to the bottom wouldn't be the worst thing to happen. Sather right or wrong answers to nobody.

actually finishing at the bottom would be the BEST thing that could happen so we can land a great player in next years draft (we are still thin in terms of elite prospects)...

but i was just jokingly refering to all the excuse sather has made in the past...in reality during a rebuild he won't have to blame losing on anything because it will be expected
