Shouldn't have come to this but no sense in looking back now.

Fact is you got 1 game to win, at home. Put up or shut up time.

The Tank better be absolutely rocking Thursday.

This is starting to sound like a broken record, but Marleau did not step it up this game. He had moments of looking okay but then the next shift he would get beaten off pucks and caught coasting looking away from the play.

But the entire team looked like **** so at least he wasn't alone.

No, game 2 against LA was still worse, it just meant less

I thought it was a good effort from a bunch of guys that clearly didn't have their skating legs in this game for whatever reason. You knew the Wings were close after game 3 when they were competing, skating hard, and very close. The Sharks aren't in that same position. Their losses aren't on bad bounces or losing 50-50 battles. Their losses are coming from being outplayed completely. They're not even in the position to get into a 50-50 battle most of the time.

This team doesn't have the look of winning a game 7. They're not close enough to Detroit in playing level to win. Detroit is going to complete this comeback as they are clearly the better team at this point.

He looked like he was having trouble pushing off with his left leg. Even if he has a knee or a groin injury it doesnt excuse the fact that he has not shown any effort.
Franzen was still trying on a bad ankle. You could see the effort.

I am officially off the Marleau bandwagon.

Part of me agrees with you.

Part of me is glad I can't get tickets, because if the unspeakable happens and the Sharks lose game 7, I would be hard pressed to keep from throwing myself from the upper deck.

Good players find ways to contribute despite injuries. Hell, I'm not entirely convinced Marleau is injured in the first place. He just looks disengaged.

why do that? You don't want to hurt the poor people down below you. Shame on you for thinking such a thing

Particularly when there's a perfectly good bridge just north of the tank to use

This is also correct.

TSN did mention how the red wings discussed that as a tactic.

This team has choked worse that Phoebe Price after being teased on-line and they expect a rocking tank in game 7? I need to stack the same combo Ledger threw down to make it through this *****, I'm a 15minute cab ride from Soho people, somebody get me some Oxycodone and Ambien and call Ashley Olson cause I'm done with this sheeet yo.

Tmac was a genius, he knew they were going to lay an egg in game 6 and held out the one guy who would have tried to throw the team on his back and probably hurt himself doing it. Now that guy is gonna be rested and will do it at home in game 7.
