The same naysayers beechen and moaning now didn't even think we'd be contenders this year. Many of you thought we wouldn't even make the playoffs. Now your not even satisfied going to game 7 with one of the best teams in the league.
I'm more sick of you than the Sharks.

ive defended this team to no end. this team pissed away back to back chances to knock out the wings with a 3rd period lead.
the heart can only take so much.
if the tank turns on the sharks as soon as its 1-0 wings in the game, which i think it will be, thats sad. beyond the rule advantages, the good thing about home ice is having ur fans rally behind you.
the team was terrible tonight. its like watching games for 2.5 hours just waiting for when the team is gonna piss it away. at least we know its in the third. this team needs a 3 goal lead.
***im really disappointed in the coaching. the wings figured out the sharks in the first 3 games. adapted. and are stopping us. YET, we still enter the same ****ing way every time on the pp, which det has figured out and they stopped at least twice no problem today. youve seen it happen now 2 games in a row. when det tied the game, the timeout NEEDED to be called, if nothing else to kill the momentum.
this team collapses too hard on the puck when it comes off the rebound in our own end shoots out to the slot.
the san jose sharks need a lucky break to win game 7. remember lidstroms stick snapping last year and it led to a 3 on 1 with thornton marleau and heatley with the puck? we need that kinda **** to happen. (i know datsyuks stick broke today, but it wasnt the same, and jumbo ****ing missed the puck)
the pp has been atrocious, theres nothing i can really say other than they have it figured out, and when it is set up for one timers and point shots with dan boyle and pavelski on the point, its not going to work. ian white needs to play that first unit, hes got a cannon, let him use it.
i believed in my heart that we would win game 4 game 5 and game 6. i ddont have that faith for game 7. maybe thats a good thing? but i doubt it.
fact 1- thornton has pts in the "odd" games (1, 3, 5) in this series and has 0 in the "even" (2, 4, 6) games. maybe that trend will continue and he will have another nice game in game 7. ive given up on patty.
fact 2- in this series if the pp scores, we win. if it doesnt, we lose. score on the pp thursday sharks.
fact 3- we need ryane clowe back. that alone will boost the crowd.
No fanbase in the league knows what it is like to be a sharks fan. Sure, Vancouver almost lost a 3-0 lead but they were not supposed to lose their previous series. The sharks were supposed to be locks for the finals in years past and never got there.
Not to mention '09, it hurts so much to be a sharks fan.
What can the fans do anymore? people spend countless ours on GDT's, gifs, images, and photoshop they never seem to be rewarded for there work, this is fing depressing! Every fing year the same fing story, somebody save me before I go into mega rage mode!
they can still win game 7, and start off fresh in the next series. the dream winning the Cup is not over until we are eliminated. i guarantee Vancouver fans still believe they can do it.
if this team wins the Cup, no one will care about what happened in round 2.
we're all hockey fans here, and game 7 will be the best game we've ever watched no matter what happens.

Why should people be happy with going to game 7? It shouldn't even go that far considering how games 4-6 went. Either they didn't show up until it was too late, or they showed up and then choked away a lead. I think most of us believe that those were games that could have been won.
Yeah, not too many men on the ice for Detroit leading up to the tying goal...(that's SARCASM folks!) That's Kronwall (who got the primary assist) stepping on at the Wings' blueline while the guy coming off is IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREAKING RINK!!!
if sharks lose, marleau has to go. does anyone disagree with that statement?
i agree, but what can we do? he is our franchise, and has a NTC. i love Patty, but its getting harder to defend him. this series could make or break the futures of many players on this team.
idk if i'd rather keep Marleau and see 80 pts, or trade him for scraps and watch him tear it up next to Kopitar for 100+ pts. i'm torn.
i wouldnt mind seeing a good, smart fire sale though. might ease the pain.

he is NOT our franchise. our franchise now is JT, pavs, couture, clowe, vlassic, demers, etc. marleau is the floater that is along for the ride. guy gets paid 7 mil and hes getting out played by our 4th liners in mcginn and ferrey-oh.
Was definitely too many men, but do we really think they would have scored?
Kronwall stepped on the ice a good 3 or 4 seconds before he should have, and was able to jump in the play and put the shot on net that Z tipped. Not saying we deserved to win anyway, but that was a crucial, crucial missed call.
Just wanted to say we were in this exact predicament a couple of weeks ago, and though it sucks...it all comes down to one game, and you have home ice. Just gotta win the one game (recommend you do not take it to OT, but it's up to you).
Officials have cost the Sharks alot this series... is the reason we lost game 4... but there are no excuses for games 5 & 6.
The picture a few posts above would say otherwise for game 6, but I have no doubt the Wings would have scored eventually the way the Sharks were playing.

Trying to stick with that mentality, so thanks.... but on the contrary, I think they should take it to OT.

You can't say because a team looked better means they were better. There were so many things that change that game against the Sharks it's not even funny.
The Wings are such a great puck possession team that they often look like the better team even if they lose, which they still deserve on many a night.
Add to that, that the Sharks had to play cautiously due to the Ref's early calling and you have what you saw.
Just because the RefWings played well does not mean the Sharks sucked.
I wouldnt mind seeing Marleau gone. Im sick and tired of him to be honest. I don't care if he absolutely owns the Sharks playing with Kopitar scoring 100+ points a season. Its just not worth the pain and suffering during the playoffs.
