Oh mighty hockey gods, who are all powerful and mighty, forgive us! We know not what we do!

In the name of victory on Thursday I will cease reading hfboards on my phone while in class. May this sacrifice be enough to appease them!

Can we make a prayer themed GDT? We need to channel our inner spiritual powers. Also sacrifice a lamb and meditate.

I never mentioned the s-word on here. I did watch Game 4 with my broom next to me, though.

I'm so sorry!

Streaking through downtown San Jose might work.

I've been thinking about that garbage video for the whole series especially after game 3 and how sweet it would be to sweep and shut people like that clown up. ******* it

Apologies to the Vancouver fans I know for making fun of their collapse to Chicago. And also for laughing maniacally at the Bruins collapse last year. Now I see how much it hurts. Stop the pain, please.

I stopped talking **** to my Red Wing fan friends. I did this because it felt like too much to be harassing people who have to live in Detroit AND have their only even decent team down 3-0 in a series. But I realize now my error in that you cannot ever take your foot of the gas. Hopefully the hockey gods forgive me and give the sharks the wisdom to learn what I have.

dear hockey gods I am terribly sorry. I stole the cookies from the cookie jar and then lied saying that it "couldn't be" me and deflected the scrutiny of others by asking "then who"?

Sorry for betting my vcash on Game 6 when you clearly wanted me to bet on Game 7!

Mere mortals,

You have sinned but god forgives you.
You will blow a lead in the third to go to overtime and Niemi will make a lucky save off of a cross crease feed to Holmstrom and then Patrick Marleau will score your game winner.

Your time has finally come after your years of faith.
Until round 3 that is.

Hockey Gods,

Please forgive my roommate and me for we have sinned. Please forgive my roommate for declaring the Sharks would win the series during the 3rd period of game 5 right after Couture's goal. Have mercy on us and all other Shark fans.

Hockey gods have ****ed us year after year. It is time, ladies and gentlemen, to side with their enemy, as he will fulfill our wishes. Hockey gods rely on blind support and do not feel like they have to give anything back. Siding with the dark side gives us a contract.

Friends, let us join the hockey devils. Let us sell of our souls to the evil master for the victory over the Red Wings on Thursday. Let us bow to Lucifer Gretzky!!! BOW TO THE MASTER!!!

Oh great Hockey Gods, I have sinned as well. I picked the Sharks to win in 5 in the board pool, I discussed with others that I was more optimistic about a match-up with the Canucks than I had been last year with the Hawks, and I trimmed my horribly uncomfortable neckbeard. Oh what hybris I've displayed

Please hockey gods, accept the sacrifice of my productivity at work for the next three days to grant our team strength!

Also, wtf is with Seto dropping twitter? When did that happen? He is the jinx!

Before the series I made a bet with my friend in Detroit...after game 3 I told him that beer he owed me would be well received in short order...I am so sorry for ever thinking anything was completed! FORGIVE ME OH HOCKEY GODS!

Hockey God, do not listen to this doubting Thomas! For where he, Doubting David, doubts you, we persevere through your tests just as Job did with his God.

I hope to repent, and first I will apologize to the team and all the fans for my own sins...I admit to trimming my playoff beard, I didn't shave it, I just tightened it up a little bit in hopes that the wife would let me share the bed with her.... apparently I made an unwise decision.

And lastly, but maybe most importantly I failed to stick to my game day dinner of blood red buffalo wings eaten at the start of the game...I did this on games 1-3 and the hockey Gods were pleased, I did not do this for the loses of game 4-6....I have already taken measures to remedy this situation and will be feasting on wings tomorrow as I hope the Sharks will be.

If this doesn't work and we lose tomorrow I will begin the 12 step Sharks post playoff loss program and show back up next year
