I want to see Heatley and his big contract traded for players and picks. Would a change of scenery be good for Marleau? Of our top prospects who is ready to make the leap other the Ferreiro?

We won't recognize this team if they lose game 7. At least I hope not.
Minus wellwood because he's cute and needs to stay.

At least Heatley is putting his all out on the ice. You can't say the same thing about Marleau.
I rather have a player who is okay in the regular season but tries hard in the playoffs (Heatley) as opposed to a player who dominates the regular season but craps the bed in the playoffs (Marleau).

This team will dominate Game 7 though.

If they lose Game 7, I want the team and management blown up so that everything down to the cleaning staff is balls out crap. That way the baseline is extremely low and the wins will be exciting again instead of expected.

I really hope you are right, because the Heatley i see is scared to hit, battle and skate hard. I was so expecting to see that from JT but not from Heatley. Just doesn't look comfortable out there at all.

Not sure what playoffs you have watched. Heatley has been one of the better Sharks IMO. He certainly doesn't skate very well but he's giving it everything he has.

This team just needs to play with better energy and focus. If they play they way they played in game 5, they'll be fine.

BTW someone remind the Sharks trainer to give Marleau some Red Bull just before the game. Geezus Patty...

Same as you bud. Im talking against the Red Wings in general. Sure he was fire against the Kings. Did the big hit really demoralize him that much? I miss Clowe and hope he is 100% Thursday

Pens fan here. I know it must suck to have had to deal with the emotional rollercoaster but when patrick marleau is the problem on your team, I feel its not personel. The guy could step it up but youre playing a hell of a team in detroit. You guys have plenty of depth, youll pull it out.

Unless there is a GM change, the guys that have clauses will remain Sharks until their contracts are through. If people want this team to change, you start with Doug Wilson and go from there. Until that happens, get used to these faces.

I want to see people lighten up. Droughts happen. Underachieving happens. Losing happens. It's okay.

Losing a 3-0 series lead doesn't happen often. It's not a good sign for a team to lose a 3-0 series lead when they already had the choker tag attached to them

let's be realistic. Even if they lose, nothing will get blown up.

Well of course not. DW will say "it was a close series where all 7 games could've gone either way", praise the teams effort, and then not a damn thing will change.

But the thread is about what we want to happen, not what we think will happen.

Thread may be a couple days premature...but this is what I think may happen.

DW gets the boot unfortunately, he has done admirable work for this franchise, but the bottom line is that his teams couldn't get it done. New GM comes in to replace the coach, and has a firesale of all the core players to stockpile picks and possibly tank it a couple seasons to get a our Toews/Crosby.

Get a grip fans - this team is trying its best to choke. Let's not be a choking fanbase too. Get up for the game - we can win Game 7. Think of nothing else right now and deal with it later if it happens.
