It looked like a twisted right knee to me, right before the cross check. Not good obviously.

I heard overextended leg.

sounds like something that won't put him out for a long time. I hope I'm right.

Best wishes, Hamhuis, I hope you recover.

It's freaking me out. Sami Salo has been one of our most durable defencemen this season.

Ryan Kesler said he's good and ready to go.

Ryan Kesler never lies.

I'm thinking u might be right. A back injury of some sort. If that's the case, hopefully whoever helped Cody Hodgson can work his magic on Hamhuis in 3 days.

First time I saw it I thought it was his shoulder but after watching replays and the way he hobbled down the tunnel, has to be lower body.

Did none of you watch the slowed down replay they showed after the game?? It was replayed on Sportsnet and John Garrett mentioned it. It's his left knee/leg. Very clear.

His foot gets caught in an akward position (possible caught in board) and his leg sort of twists.

Theres no question it's his left leg.

What other team has a player the calibre of Keith Ballard as their ''7th'' defenceman?

Actually I take what I said back, im not that sure. I swear the replay they showed on sportsnet had a closer up look of the leg and it looked different. But see for yourself. Most likely an ankle.

This clip shows a good replay

Yeah but let's look at the Canucks d-depth compared to other playoff teams.

1st Other Teams > Canucks
2nd Other Teams <= Canucks
3rd Other Teams < Canucks
4th Other Teams << Canucks
5th Other Teams <<< Canucks
6th Other Teams >>>>>>>>>>>>> Canucks
7th Other Teams <<<<< Canucks

I was afraid someone would say this - great job!

Salo gets injured next game, book it.

Yeah, Salo has even made a few nice hits. Every time he does I hold my breath until I see him skate away without limping or anything.

Well at least Hamhuis gets 2 days break and doesn't have to travel yet.

Shown on SportsCentre, Tyler Seguin squirted Hamhuis with his water bottle while he went down...
