I don't need to think about it. Thornton has been steadily shedding all vestiges of being a playoff choker and he really stood out for me this and last series.

Even though I love Wellwood gotta give this to Jumbo, he was all over the place, I've never seen him so determined offensively and defensively.

Who would've thought Seto and Couture would be leading goal scorers in the playoffs. At least Seto...

Detroit's a great team so it needed to be all hands on deck. I thought everybody was at least average except for the 4th line and Marleau who were below average.

The ones that stood out were Boyle who redeemed himself from round 1, Thornton playing well on both ends of the ice, and Seto scoring some huge goals. Clowe and Couture were doing their thang too. Heatley competed hard but he needs to play better.

voted Clowe. almost went with Thornton, he was great at both ends, but it seemed like Clowe had 3 assists every game.

Hard to decide between JT, Clowe, and Niemi. Didn't want to go "Other" and JT had a better Game 7.

I went with Couture. Thornton's play tonight reminded me of Marleau's in game 5. Either he's injured, or he chose not to move whenever Zetterberg or Datsyuk had the puck.

That guy with the C on his shoulder. Is Marleau's inclusion in the poll some kind of sick joke?

Thornton played amazing all series. Nemo looked solid as well, but I think after the first few games everyone knew Nemo and Howard were going to bring it every game so I think Nemo fell under the radar a bit.

Lots of guys with good series', and everyone with a good game 7. But, I gotta give it to Seto, I would not have guessed his scoring would have perked up like it did. If Marleau finds his offense (or has found it) again, that line becomes the legit top scoring threat we want/hope it is.

These players had there moments speaking of Seto and Niemi but I think Thornton and Couture were excellent through most of the games. We are going to need everybody to step up to move past the next round.

It was JT, but I went with Seto anyway because he stepped up so big for Seto.

Hands down the best member of the Sharks team on the ice was Niemi this round. As for the Skaters I chose Jumbo and would give an honorable mention to Demers, he stepped up his play big time all through these playoffs.

Heatley, Wellwood, Niemi, Setoguchi, and Couture have been really really good.

Thornton gets the vote for me - he was fantastic tonight.
