Isn't it kinda odd how sharks fans have said heatley's playing fine, but reading some other boards, the fans have said he's been an invisible pile of garbage. Do we just have really low expectations for him or are they being too hard on him?

I was wondering the same thing. Both sides are clearly biased though.

Heater won't ever be the 50 goal snipe machine he was before, but he's giving it his all and finding ways to contribute.

Finish off a few more chances and he'll really shine.

Jumbo, Jumbo, Jumbo,

But Wellwood was AWESOME. In fact, so awesome that combined with him being dissed by the Canucks, he deserves more ice time (someway, some how, 2nd PP unit??) in the WCF...

Thornton. Combine his production with the fact that Babcock and McLellan are both power-on-power coaches and his suberb defensive play and his leadership responcibilities. There's no question.

I would have, absolutely. LoCo is our best goal scorer. Seto is a right-handed sniper on Thornton's right wing.

Heatley was one of those unsung heroes. Maybe his hard work will pay off next series in terms of goals, but keep playing hard.

He's not putting up the points. But after watching him all year you realize he's playing his a-s-s off. That's why we're ok and the fans of other teams expect more. He's not worth 7.5, but like Joe Thornton he's sacrificing points for wins and the team is better for it. He's just not getting the credit.

That's because he doesn't skate very well and isn't very strong on the puck.

Although he's been much stronger on the puck in the playoffs than he was in the regular season.

Anyone a bit worried about Niemi next round since he's a hot and cold kinda player. He was cold against LA, hot against the wings, so i'm kinda worried he might go cold next.

He played well enough to win against Vancouver last year, that's all I care about.

It was a toss up between Niemi and Wellwood for me. Ultimately went with Wellwood. Was good in all three zones CONSISTANTLY.

If Wilson doesn't file adoption papers, I will.

Congrats on the series victory over the Wings, I thought Niemi was your guys best player throughout this series. He looks like he's at that Cup winning form between the pipes. I think if game 6 score would've been anything other than 3-1 when it could've been worse. I think a blow out would've set a different tone for game 7. Good luck against the Nucks.

picking 1 is easy Jumbo Joe

Beyond that I would say that all these guys were equally large

Nemo
Seto
Heater-Courture-Clowe
Wellwood-Pavelski-Mitchell
Boyle

Couture. No doubt about it.

Joe played really well but Couture scores playoff goals.

I'm not worried. He was bad in round 1 last year and great the rest of the way. I believe he will outplay Luongo.

True. But Couture didn't face Datsyuk/Zetterberg/Lidstrom every time he was on the ice. And Seto scored a lot of goals on Joe's wing.

Joe "Jumbo" Thornton definitely. Seeing the way our captain battled tonight on the ice after having one hell of a series overall, was absolutely spectacular.

O captain my captain, please lead us to Lord Stanley! Conn Smythe!
