I think the guy that hit sorenson should be out as long as he is, its the only way they are going to stop it. No room for that in the game. They still do not let the talent play the game the way it should be played.

Just talked with Associate Coach Martin Laperriere for some upcoming articles for Hockey's Future and slipped in a couple of questions on Sorensen.
Laperriere says he doesn't expect him back skating regularly until May or June, but the team hopes he'll be ready for the start of next season.
Knee injuries take a long time to rehab and even when the player is back in the lineup it doesn't mean that he's 100%. I remember talking to Brendan Mikkelson way back when the Memorial Cup was hosted in Moncton. Mikkelson was a member of the Vancouver Giants but suffered a similar injury that season. He was skating on his own during the Memorial Cup but wasn't anywhere close to being able to play. Even the following season, it wasn't until the second-half of the year that he finally found his form.
Laperriere said that Quebec wants to take it slow with his recovery to ensure that it isn't a continuing problem.
