So I'm predicting a one goal win for Sweden in the Final and bronze for the Czechs.
Roll out the TURIN SHROUD

3-2 Finland in shootouts. Luis Eriksson fails for the third time.

Damn, let's just play the game now. I can't wait till Sunday!

What a great surprise this team has been. In the finals with Lepistö-Salmela as our first D-pairing, I mean wtf is that? Mikke has been unreal. Shades of Saku in Globen, dare I say? 1995 never forget etc.

The curse must end someday right? Might as well be May 15th. Great day for a barbecue me thinks.

Ahh fuk, Finland is going to win this one....

Ohh, its so darn typical. Sweden have a great WCH's with a bunch of nobody's, it should have been a nice tournament. Now, if we loose, it will be a failure of historic proportions that we will have to face the concequences of for atleast 20 years.

Sure, there are people who dislike sports but this is a very big game and a whole lot of people 'ute i stugorna' will be watching.

With the luck of the Swedes (maybe some hint of skill involved), there's no need for counterjinxing

Anyone who has visited a swedish news site during the day should be aware of this game. It's top news everywhere.

Way to believe! I mean, why be optimistic when you can be the complete opposite...

For what it's worth, this is the first time after all those years when Finland has not a single player from that -95 champ team in squad.

I'm really breaking some barriers here saying I think Finland will take this game and will do it in quite dominant fashion. If I'm wrong, fine. But atleast I'm showing some faith in this team and it's deserved. Past years DO NOT matter in this game.

A tip... Don't bet on Sweden to win it in regulation. I bet on Canada in regulation in the Olympics when I cheered for USA. I lost my money... and of course, Crosby won it for Canada...

Yeah, I had the following text conversation with a friend minutes after Russia beating Canada...

(translation: I am writing "think about betting some on Finland tomorrow!", my friend is saying: "ok I might bet a little bit")

Oh yeah, I heard people will get beaten on the streets of Helsinki if they speak Swedish, according to AB or something

Well, if they are going to attack Sweden, I hope they bring back some cheap mellanöl.

Also this is the 4th time Finns and Swedes meet in the WHC final and Sweden leads 2-1 so it's not like the history is totally in Sweden's favor.

Finland kinda always seem to throw away such opportunities.
Hope this time it's different but I'm not optimistic.

There's Turin though.

It's not as much "Sweden" as it is "final". We have beaten Sweden before in important games.

Ouch that's gotta hurt!

Okay, so I've never bet any money before so this is a first, but I feel like it's now or never.

Now that the gold is literally won by Finland, who do you think was the MVP for the silver medalist team Sweden?
