Biggest Pest On The Sharks?

Hey Sharks fans, just wondering who the biggest pest on your team is? Who can the Canucks fans be expecting to dislike the most at the end of the series?

Nobody really. Maybe Nichol but as a 4th liner doesn't get much ice time.

Mitchell seems to get under players skin sometimes. Clowe's no slouch either, but I wouldn't call them pests.

Nichol probably fits what you're looking for, but not really.

- if you have any french-canadians, Vlasic is the biggest pest ever apparently.
- Clowe is fun to watch. he can chirp. lol
- Seto can get under the skin of the other team.
- Demers for his physical play.
- Mitchell, like LZ said ^

Has to be Nichol. The little guy really gets under the skin of some of the opponents. Clowe, Setoguchi, etc. are more like skilled players who can bring the toughness and protect their fellow teammates when necessary.

He isn't a pest, but you'll probably hate Clowe more than anyone. Never afraid to run his mouth and back it up.

Pavelski really pissed off the Wings in games 1 and 2.

Nichol is PAID to be the pest though. Haven't been good at that lately.

Murray is not a pest at all but he'll kill your forwards.

The Sharks have no class players, no pests. We win as a team, pest as a team. Everyone pests a bit when necessary.

The psychological effect of that and then that same player dominating should probably not be underestimated.

I'm thinking Clowe or Thornton (depending which Joe shows up). Clowe seems to be able to find the right buttons to push.

Clowe or Pavs in the offensive zone, Vlasic in the D-zone. Rationale:

Pavs always finds himself in the post-whistle scrums because he goes hard to the net and jams at the goalie. Clowe runs his mouth and hits hard and generally has a douchey swagger.

Vlasic is a dirty-ish little player. lots of little dickish little things he does to piss off opposing forwards.

I'd say Clowe is the biggest pest on the Sharks. He's not a dirty player by any means though.

I think the question was more intended to learn who VANCOUVER might consider a 'pest', however that's defined. Not so much who we consider pests.

There were five players the Wings fans (on LGW) hated on constantly and talked about wanting to kill the most. The first two were tied for first:

1a - Pavelski (whom they called Divelski, and hated about evenly with Thornton) - for constantly driving the net, pestering Howard, and most of all drawing the most penalties (five in one game were all committed against him). He and Clowe were both constantly referred to as beasts by Wings fans.

1b - Thornton - for one big dive that he did make, but already hated in general for being rough and abusive toward their players (Jumbo Cheap Shot they called him), making plays happen, and for shutting down Datsyuk so much.

2 - Clowe - also for intense physical intimidation, roughing, abuse, dirty face washes, net crashing, interference, and how many times he threatened the net in their zone.

3 - Murray - for one reason only: he hit like a freight-train, which scared fans to death because their players were injured as it was.

4 - Setoguchi (#1 last year - called Divaguchi then) - for embellishing and also for scoring, like Pavelski. When he scored a GWG in the last series, someone wrote, "Oh, it would have to go to that ugly b*st*rd."

They made fun of Couture's looks (one called him the love child of Thornton and Mr. Ed), but didn't have anything much to say about Vlasic, Mitchell or Nichol.
