What will Colorado be adding to Stastny? O'Reilley and a 2nd, or Elliott, Hishon and a 2nd? Myers is the most valuable player in this trade.

Unless it's a top 5 player in the NHL in return, Darcy is gone within 2 hours of making that trade.

No.

What would Buffalo fans want in return for Kassian?

Paul is a good player. But he comes with a big price tag. And isn't worth that OP.
These Stastny proposals are getting old.

What's the analysis on Kassian? Top 3? Top 6? Speed? Hands? etc.

Pretty sure we'd only move O'Reilly for a similarly skilled power forward winger which I think I recall Kassian being touted as, but not sure how he's come along since his draft.

Would be cool to see the Cody Mc's reunited though, I might make it a point to see a few Buffalo games just for those two.

Myers isn't being traded, and he especially isn't being traded in a **** deal like this one. Come on.

Sabres don't need defensemen who can't immediately play shutdown minutes or log a ton of TOI. Buffalo's cupboard on defense is insane.

Also, what are the thoughts on Stafford for O'Reilly?

Fair enough. No deal to be made for the time being.

Edit: No thanks. The Avs are very high on O'Reilly. He is considered part of the core. I know this is said way too much around here, but it would take an overpayment.

I'd say after the season Stafford had this year it would be.

Perhaps, but I can't see the Avs making this trade. It's hard to put a value on Stafford. I'd put him in a similar category as David Jones. Both had good/great years, but do you really know what your getting? And yes Stafford>Jones to clarify.

Yeah, but Stafford's low side at this point is still 20 goals and strong all situations play, and I doubt he's sitting at 20 when playing with a top 25 center in the league in a much more offensive system.

I agree. It's not a bad proposal, just not something I would do.

I wouldn't trade Stafford for O'Reilly from a Sabres POV and with the Avs as my second favorite team I wouldn't do it from their POV either. If we trade Stafford I don't want it to be for a guy who isn't a top 6 center. O'Reilly is and will be amongst the best 3rd line centers in the game but I don't feel that he's a 2nd line center, at least on a contending team. From the Avs POV, I don't see the point in getting rid of Stastny-Duchene-O'Reilly without massive overpayment; that is the type of center depth that every team in the league strives for.

You say Karlsson will win a Norris by age 25 (fat chance, they don't give it to one dimensional d-men) but Myers could be the next Hal Gill

I don't know in what parallel universe Enroth is the answer to Avs goaltending problems. Perhaps in the universe where inexperienced pint-sized goalies are fantastic.
