But did it not have any mention of the fact that they would be returning you to your regular 300 seating at some point during the season? Looks like they are simply moving you back sooner than expected. lol

Incorrect again. I have an accompanying letter signed by the President of MSG, Scott O'Neil, describing exactly the process in which I will have the 200 level seats at the 300 level price for the first half of the season. Rangers aren't going to win this one, this slimey takeback has no legs to stand on

So the letter stated specifically that after home game #41 you would be returning to your original 300 level seats?

Well I agree that it is certainly a sucky thing to do. But that said, assuming they put you in your original seats from the start, I don't see how you could claim you were harmed in any way. They anticipated that your seats would be unavailable for a good chunk of the season. So rather than tell you sorry, you're screwed, they did the honorable thing and moved you to more expensive seats at no extra cost. But assuming they no longer need to do that, you end up getting exactly what you paid for. There are no damages here, and thus no real case. At least that's how I think it will go down. You can certainly try and fight them...but it's really a case of no good deed goes unpunished. The Rangers organization ends up looking bad even though they acted with the best of intentions.

I just received an email for the hotel promotion.

I just got it as well. The offer runs through Dec 31, 2011 and you have to sign up for the Foxwoods Dream Card.

That's not a lot of time to get a room plus I don't want that card. I wish they mentioned this in the original offer but I can't complain I guess.

What is the Foxwoods dream card? Isn't just a regular "comp" card? I would think you have plenty of time to get a room, can't imagine they would offer this promotion if they were filling up all their rooms on a regular basis.

I also called today (about foxwoods ironically enough) and to ask about ticket availability and winter classic. I didnt realize box office is closed and wont be available. If you didnt check off to have your tickets delivered, you will have to print them yourself. You won't be getting printed tickets from MSG unless you agreed to have them shipped to you.

As for Winter Classic, my rep said they still don't have any info on tickets but she is sure there will be something for season ticket holders. Secondly, she said not to expect any info until the game is officially announced.

I thought their comp card was the wampum card but I guess they changed it.

A 4 month window to make a reservation would be one thing but my understanding is that the date of your stay also has to be within the next 4 months.

And now you're telling me I can't pick up my tickets? I always pick up my tickets and the renewal said I can pick up my tickets. Are you absolutely sure of this? I think they will have to expect a lot of phone calls from unhappy campers including myself if this is the case.

Although last time there was a glitch with my STH package (they didn't get them all at the BO in time) I got invited to a lunch with Adam Graves.

Yup, she said it was mentioned in the renewal package. I don't recall seeing that, but whatever. So yeah, if you want actual tickets, you better call. If you hear differently, please post on here.

The Dream Card is just their player's card. Good also at MGM Grands, so maybe they changed it when they merged? Yeah, I think you have to stay by Dec 30th. I strictly play poker and recently found the Parx outside of Philly (much closer than Atlantic City), so I told my wife to check out their calendar and see if there is anything you'd want to go see and I'll try to book for that night.

so basically im the only person that has yet to get any type of offer from my rep. at this point should i just ask for my money back? the rep has known what i can and can't do since march. i spoke to him about 3 weeks ago and he said what i want there is nothing available yet. any help from people that have experience with this please shed some light. the only thing i can think of is maybe they are trying to offer some sort of half season package but i have no idea. i just want to know already.

Offer for what and why would you need your money back? Did you pre-pay for something?

My rep wasn't sure. They haven't started printing yet. I'm worried they will hold them back because of the late start to the home schedule. I'd rather get them sooner as I never collect until I have tickets in hand.

I would call and find out. From what I understand, they have the 100-200 (now lower bowl) available.

I called and you are right so I asked to have the tickets mailed. She also told me that I still had a credit from last season. I assumed it was from a few games I sold via ticket exchange but it is weird that it wasn't applied to the playoff games or season ticket invoice.

Now I think it may be the 10% playoff discount from the early renewal, or possibly from the unused playoff tickets. You may want to call your reps to make sure you don't have a credit sitting out there unused.

You could definitely spin that another way...meaning at least 10 or 15% of the club and 100/200 seats were not renewed. Considering that there were already a lot of unsold lower level seats there should be quite a few empty seats in the new lower bowl this season.
