where are all the funny gifs now? Don't blame the refs. You guys can play better and I expect you to play better. I like your team and I expect more than that effort. Game 1 means absolutely nothing. It's just a feeling out period for both teams. We'll see who the real Sharks are on Wednesday. You guys know you can play better and us Canuck fans know it too. This series is gonna be a meat grinder.

nah this team is known for it's 3rd period meltdowns!

I'd love to see a grinder myself but not so sure after one game. ha ha.

The expectation level for the Sedins has reached Shark-level proportions. Henrik scores one goal and all of a sudden they're having an "awakening".

That and he's probably fishing for more penalties on Eager if the guy even so much as breathes on him in the next game. Eager's an easy target for that based on reputation.

Dude's a headcase. We really need to throw more shots at him as this series goes on, because he could absolutely lose a game or two by himself.

Goalies are the only player who can (legally) play with a broken stick.

In looking at replays, it does not appear he was "favoring" the stick in anyway because it was cracked/broken. He did not whiff or fan on the shot.

I'm taking that comment as a (lame) excuse.

Playing with a broken stick, Luongo? Shouldn't that be a penalty...

.....Similar to the near Messiah discussion for Marleau after scoring the winning goal in the paint on a tap-in in game 7. Its what sports writers do. Its called hyperbole.

Hence why I said it had reached "Shark-level proportions".

How is a stick "kind of" broken? It's either broken or it's not. LOLuongo...

Could have been cracked and not snapped so it had no flex?

But isn't it still technically broken? Or wouldn't one just say cracked? Just seems more indicative of excuse-making to say kind of. It gives you an out so to speak.
