Thanks Danishh; for what it's worth, the next GM (shootapuck) hasn't been active for a few days, so we may or may not have another consensus selection to make in a few hours.
Geez. This invite only draft usually runs so smooth.
Yep, granted about 8 of the last 17 hrs or so were over night, that's still a pretty reasonable time frame. I'm happy to TSR some more time, but I'll let others make the call.
Oh I agree, TSR is as reputable as they come on HF. We just seem to continually be hitting ruts and dry-spells, while this is realistically the best mock on HF year-in and year-out.

Don't worry guys. Things always slow down during the weekend and will pick up starting tomorrow, no doubt.
San Jose is proud to select from the Seattle Thunderbirds of the WHL Colin Jacobs
Ottawa is on the clock
Out of curiosity, who would you have went with between Jacobs and Shore. I was pretty torn. Ultimately, I went with what I thought was the higher upside pick. Shore could bust or could be a second line center in an NHL top six. Jacobs is a pretty safe bet for an NHL fourth line, it seems. Jenner was the safe pick between he and Jenssen, my other consideration at 20. Salomakki is another "safe'' pick that I went with ahead of Nieto, who I debated on, which is why I felt more inclined to go with Shore over Jacobs, I guess.

Depends on what you value. In this case I think Shore is probably a better offensive guy then Jacobs but I like my Centers to have some beef to them. Jacobs is a safer bet to play in the NHL I think his top end is solid number 2 center but more than likely a very good number 3 guy. I have only seen Shore play a few times and there is alot to like there
