So, returning for sure are 7 forwards, 3 defensemen and 1 goaltender. Therefore needs would be, at least 5 forwards, 3 defensemen and 1 goaltender
We can assume that Scott Teskey (95) and Sergei Kuptsov (94) will be added to the forward group. That leaves a need for three more, minimum. There is a possibility any two of Mayer, Bureau and Wise, which would leave a need for 1-2 more. Prospects in the system that might get looks are Grant Syrette (94) and Doug Harvey (93) or another prospect who has a great camp.
On defence, we can assume that David Corrente is a strong possibility to return and that last year's second, Ryan Duhaime (94) will get a look, and that any of Eric Diodati (93), Joshua Burnside (95), Jacob Graves (95), will get consideration.
Finally, with Spencer Martin taken in this year's first round, one can assume the back-up job to Anderson is his to lose.
So, if you work in potential OA returnees, there are more than enough players "in the system" to fill those needed positions.
Currently he is the 2nd LW behind Smith-Pelly, so yes he should figure into the top six next year.
IMO, as the year progressed, Partanen developed into a more complete player. He wasn't afraid to use his size and throw some hits and by the end of the season was responsible defensively, more often than not, being the first forward back into his own zone. It was a numbers game for him most of the time, as he is primarily an offensive forward and there just weren't opportunities for him in the top six last year. I believe with more ice-time and a more offensive role with the team (better line mates and more PP time) he will show significant offensive number improvements and could push 25-30 goals.

Thanks for respond . After that scouting report i think he will fit our WJC roster.
Dude must have connections. I find his voice a bit annoying on the Majors Rogers TV broadcasts because it's whiny but he's a knowledgeable guy I guess.
Someone pointed out that he had a similar position with I think the Marlies in the 80s right before they relocated so....

He is friends with the owner.
In his days with the fan, Lejoie would have Melnyk on for 20 minutes for an 'interview' aka, pushing ticket sales. It honestly sounded like Lejoie was applying for a job during these 'interviews'.
"Mississauga, ON – The Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors are pleased to announce the signing of goaltender Spencer Martin.
