Babcock is Awesome! Guy was laughing and joking during interviews after the first two losses...that is just some serious swagger right there!

You can tell how the playing style of the Sharks, Red Wings, and Canucks reflect their coaches. Both the Sharks and Wings play a calm classy game, they don't go and agitate for no apparent reason, they just show up and play. AV, however seems to think its okay for his players to dive and then whine about the referees when they lose.

it was at the same time as the Bieksa hooking call (3-19:09). I'm guessing he chirped at the refs or something but i dunno. It was off camera.

In that situation, most of the time it's saying the magic word to the refs since he wasn't involved with the penalty that Bieksa took.

Well, if he listens to much of the Canadian media up here, he will probably be doing so. CBC post game, Don Cherry stated the Canucks knew this was a gimmy for the Sharks and, they'll take the next one for sure and, Healy stated A.V. should speak of this loss being based on 10 penalties and, they still almost came back. He of course forgot to mention that we also had a good chunk tonight of penalties and ours were more difficult/critical; 2 five on three's and a lengthy 5 minute late one!

It is nice to be the underdog and as with the Wings, expectancy for us to blow it.

whoa anyone know what error and romes status are? seems like they might be out for game 4! ballard and ahlberts step in is my guess if thats the case. losing error would be pretty huge for them though.

I can already see Couture in the air from a hipcheck by Ballard.

I am here and staying silent until I see the game on DVR and Reading the GDT, but I don't think I'm going to be happy. Even with the win. Except for Ehrhoff being dust.

McLellan assured us he'd play next game.

He's a-ok.

the post-game guys on CSN. Randy, Drew, Hedican and Reiss basically comparing McLellan's classy interviews to AV's interviews.

This is about the refs, isn't it? You've been unhappy about the refs almost every game so I'm thinking you're pissed about the major on Mcginn?

Unless McGinn is suspended, I really want to see McGinn and Desjardins in the next game. I thought Mayers had a strong game too and he is one of my least favorite players on this team. I wouldn't change the 4th line.

edit:

I wanted to add that I think the Vancouver (I don't know how to spell AV's name) coach is a bigger whiner than Terry Murray.

You know you've been watching a player for a long time when you start noticing gray hairs on the playoff beard. Marleau's getting old. lol

This. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Mashinter in there instead of Desjardins either.
