All I heard AV comment about was that he couldn't say anything because he would get fined.

What an emo ******. The sharks owned this game hands down until that major on McGinn. First time I've seen a WCF game live, and a win in the wcf nonetheless.

I'm almost positive that it was for something he said to one of the refs. I was at the game so I didn't get the benefit of hearing the anouncers take on it, but that's what it looked like to me.

Thanks for the update. Missed the coaches post game but, will check them out later when on the Sharks website.

He didn't go into any details on Couture though?

He of course forgot to mention that we also had a good chunk tonight of penalties and ours were more difficult/critical; 2 five on three's and a lengthy 5 minute late one!

It is nice to be the underdog and as with the Wings, expectancy for us to blow it.
Man, I feel really bad for the sharks fans in canada. A lot of us can't stand the Versus broadcast but I would probably punch myself in the face if I had to listen to the biased Canadian broadcast.

Just got back in town today from Boston. Great to see the sharks win one, it was really hard watching the first two games from my hotel. Sharks need to keep it up! Also, really need to stay outta the box.

Leafs fan coming in peace.
Absolutely clean hit in my opinion. Not 5 min, not even 2 minutes. Refs should put away their crowns of kings or whatever they think they are. Brutal call on second 5-on-3. Kesler acts again, extending himself in nice strait line. Presentation - 10, sportsmanship - 0. Sorry, Ryan, you are biggest clown in the league.
I hope guys you win it. SJ is getting at least one horrible game-changing call/no call per game. Heatly "offside", Big Joe high-sticked with ref staring from ****ing 1 meter, 5 min major for clean hit.

It's the reason Boyle trimmed his beard. He had Niedermayer going.

With the usual yada yada yada about how one picture can't show exactly what a play is...

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Not sure how you go from that position to "Major/Game Misconduct."

The right call was made. It may have been shoulder-to-shoulder but the impact took Rome into the boards. And if it wasn't boarding, it could've been charging. I love McGinn's energy but he's got to pick his spots better.

Funny thing?.... I wasn't even worried about the 5-3's. Just felt like we were gonna kill em. Vlasic and Murray were UN-F-N-Believable.

But it's always hard to tell live.

It's not his fault. That picture makes it pretty clear. I doubted it before. His job is to punish defenseman and make them not want to play the puck. That same hit is done dozens of times a game. You don't let up on hits in the NHL except for hits from behind. This is not a hit from behind. I dont' get where you think that McGinn did anything wrong. This is the NHL not some adult beer league. A player that lets up on hits doesn't belong in the NHL. Your post is rediculous.
