The heat was hot. Sadly, the air is not dry.

we are supposed to have temps 95-100 with heat index's near 105. Very rare for us to get near 100 here. I know 100 would seem like a warm spring day compared to what they have had in the midwest.

I think I may have ****ed up my hearing permanently. I went to see Soundgarden last week at Festival Pier and my ears are still ringing. Worth it though, they kicked so much ass.

I feel like a pansy because it wasn't even the loudest show I've been to. If you've heard of My Bloody Valentine, they're over legal limits with their decibel level. It's nuts.

Accidentally clicked on the wrong link on the boards and stumbled onto the penguins board..

A bunch of them think Crosby is going to score 140+ points and malkin 130+ points

What do you guys think of the new Jets logo? I actually like it. A Simply, classy, tribute to the RCAF I assume. Not cartoony and lame like the original Coyotes logo or the fisheman one from a while back.

I don't mind it, I think it could grow on me.

Kind of retro/edgy which suites them i suppose, but I don't really like the stylization of the maple leaf when its behind the Jet. I'd like to see how they're jerseys look though before I make up my mind

I think it's ok. I think it will really depend on what they do with the jerseys. They could make it really cool, or it could be awful.

I think it looks horrible and like they put no time into designing it.

Anyone still watch new Simpsons episodes? I have been watching a lot of old ones lately and I'm curious how the new ones are.

We still tune in faithfully. Though I much prefer the old ones, for a show that's been on forever, the new ones still make me laugh.

Best Simpsons episode: You Only Move Twice (1996)

Maybe not the best episode, but it has some of my favourite quotes in it.

"Okay now pie, I'm gonna go like this *chomp chomp chomp*, and if you get eaten - it's your own fault!"

Second in my list is Homer Goes to College.
  • "There'll be no hospital, then. I'll tell the children."
  • "We played Dungeons & Dragons for three hours! Then I was slain by an elf."
  • "It was the most I ever threw up, and it changed my life forever."
  • "Marge, someone squeezed all the life out of these kids. And unless movies and TV have lied to me, it's a crusty, bitter old Dean!"
