NJD/Atl. Winnipeg Draft day

Conditional assuming larsson is gone and not available by the fourth pick overall. If Larson is available by the fourth pick then the devils select him.

To NJD -bogosian.
To Atl- 4th overall. Palmeiri and Urbom.

Too much. Not enough. I think a fourth and tedenby would be too much and as a devil fan I wouldn't do it.
Counter? Don't really think that there are to many roster spots that jersey could give up without creating another hole. Or other players that are to valuable to the franchise(parise, kovy).

I think the value is reasonable I just don't know if it is what Atlanta needs.

I think it's too much for Bogosian. He still has a lot of question marks and I'm not sure how willing the Devils are to take on another team's project.

I'd also like to hang onto Urbom if possible, he's going to be a good player.

why not trade up and select Larsson? Where NJ wants a certain player, Col may not think that the value between the 2nd and 4th is that great, if the Dev's can entice them enough...

Way to much. I would want Lou fired if he ever made that deal. We'll just keep Palimeri, Urbom and the 4th pick.

This is way too much to give up for Bogosian, who would be another project player on the Devils. He has no experience, plays with little flare, and, yes he has potential, but he hasn't been stellar in his career.

I'd prefer pick Larsson with the pick, and then keep Palmieri and urbom

Too much for New Jersey to give up.

Bogosian is not a project player. This is alot to give up, but Bogosian isn't going to come cheap. This is a bit steep, but it has to be noticably more than just 4th overall. Also, this trade really doesn't meet Atlanta needs. Larsson won't be there by the 4th pick.

If that's the price for NJ to get Bogo than no thanks.

I understand ATL having to have a high asking price, but NJ would decline. Better to just give up some more picks and try to move up for Larsson.

I just noticed this:

If ATLs need is a young, mobile D man; why would you be trying to get rid of one? That really says something about how you really feel about Bogo IMO.

The pick for Bogo straight up makes more sense. Urbom might be a Devil on opening day next year, but actually stick this time.

When have I ever said that Atlanta should get rid of Bogosian? I pretty much implied that when I mentioned that Bogosian is more of a need to Atlanta than these draft picks. I'm not the OP, I am not even an Atlanta fan although I feel bad for them having to deal with these retarded Bogosian deals I see on a daily basis. Bogosian is going to be an excellent hockey player, Atlanta has no reason to trade him(since I have to spell it out).

My apologies. I just assumed you were the OP. My point still stands, though.

This is the reason I made mention to Larsson, not because I think Atlanta will acquire him. He will not be available 4th overall, period.

New ownership could turn Bogo around and get him the coaching he needs. Atlanta has one of the best young defenses in terms of potential you can find.

I could do an elaborate analysis but I'd rather in three short letters.

Bogosian for the 4th pick is more fair, I'm not sure NJ would do it though.. depends on who gets picked in the first 3 possibly.

I rather have Couturier/Huberdeau/Larsson/Murphy + Palmieri + Urbom than just having Bogosian.

i would deal pick #4 straight up for Bogosian, assuming Larsson isn't available. he still has some top of the line potential and is a few years ahead of the prospects this year development-wise
