Great save by Mac!

Wish the stream was less choppy...

Zanette with a goal and Avtsin with an assist, how did they look?

Avtsin looked good offensively. Smart passes. Every shift he was the last to get back to his blue-line when the play leaves the Offensive Zone. Zanette was okay. Didn't stand out for me. His goal was a deflection or something.

Thanks. I hope Avtsin learns to backcheck or he won't go far in this organization.

It's his first year on NA ice. He'll be fine, I think.

That's just his second game in awhile and he seemed better than his first. Hard to judge with so little ice time but Randy can't take any chances with more shifts for him at this time. IMO that goal could almost be classified as a fluke but we'll take them anyway we can get them.
It was a great team effort, they bent but didn't break. Hopefully that will give them confidence going to Houston. Our best players were White and Carle. Whitey came off of a terrible effort in the blow-out win and was a real thorn in Houston's side this game. Carle was a workhorse on the D and probably our best puck mover.
Let's hope we keep up the effort. GO DOGS!
