Good G-d almighty.

The Columbus Blue Jackets fanbase, in anticipation of the reaction of the Pittsburgh Penguins fanbase, is prepared to offer you political asylum in exchange for showing us such obvious favor.

Best part is "Nash gets his winger." Provided Malkin is healthy, CBJ takes this and runs back to Ohio as fast as possible.

I was going to make up a post about how it seems like a fair deal but that Jackets would pass because of this and that and whatever, just to make this run like a regular HF trade proposal thread, where competing fanbases fight over why a proposal sucks because we're getting shafted, but I couldn't.

Hmmm.. close but not quite. The former are proven NHLers.

That being said, wow a trade that is finally lopsided in Columbus favor. But is really, really... (I think you know the word).

LOL yeah. I guess the OP doesn't know that Nash IS a winger, and Malkin is a center. Or, it was just a typo...

But yeah, the OP is horribadterriblegawdawfulsucky.

AWFUL! If you're going to make a legitimate proposal, you might want to take out Voracek and insert Dorsett..The Pens are going to be losing out on a key grinder/tough guy in Malkin, so Dorsett should offset that. Let me know if you think the Pens should add a first through third round pick to solidify the deal!

ahh, the weekly quantity for quality malkin proposal. the pens have zero interest in moving the guy, and i have yet to see a propsoal for him that is not laughable.

It would be hilarious if the Jackets did actually pull off this move and proceed to move Nash to center and put Malkin on his wing.

"Very nice deal, but we'd have to pass because we're a little bit shallow on RW, and so can't afford to deal Voracek without getting a RW back. And Howson never trades out of the first round."

Such is the glory of the Internet that I can pretend to be able to say that with a straight face.

Columbus takes this, then builds a 50 foot high concrete wall along the Ohio/Pennsylvania border and sets up checkpoints on all border crossings between West Virginia and Ohio to prevent angry Pens fans from entering the state.

I think its kinda dumb but that all does depend on Malkin's long term future from what I have seen everything should be back to normal and in that case NAWH

You need to add something derogatory about Jordan Staal, that's when the real magic happens.
