Quick question here from an OHL-newbie. I am looking to go to the September 3rd pre-season game between Niagara and the Erie Otters, in Erie, and I was wondering whether teams typically ice their regular roster, or whether players attending NHL prospect camps are not included. Or perhaps it's like NHL pre-season games where more of the younger players are played? I am a huge Bruins fan and I'd like to see Dougie, as well as Strome. Thanks!

Ya, sorry, just meant SSM was a team stacked with 2nd round picks that could get a deal done. I certainly don't expect eight of them to be moved to Niagara. SSM and London are the teams in the West with several 2nd rounders in the next few years, but many of London's will be dealt to Kingston for Domi, so SSM makes more sense. Of course it could be any team, but from a draft pick standpoint, SSM is in the best position.
Wouldn't mind seeing him traded to the Hounds but that would give us a very young/inexperienced defense. Outside of Rogalski and Schwindt the rest of the D are rookies or 2nd year players. Add to that in my opinion Schwindt is likely the extra OA who will be scratched when Perugini starts and will likely be traded/released once they have to go down to 3.
....but when 2 of the second year players are Sproul and Curcurutto, it doesn't seem too bad. I say that especially since I think this coming year is a stepping stone for the season after that. Mid pack this year and top of the heap the year after. The Soo just makes way too much sense.
Adam Bateman deal will be announced today or tomorrow. Surprised the news hasn't been leaked already seeing as it was done awhile ago. He will be traded to the Windsor Spitfires. Very good pick up by Windsor with the loss of Ryan Ellis, Bateman could be a good addition to the powerplay.

I don't know the specifics of the deal either but a buddy of mine told me awhile back ago. Bateman has to not report to IceDogs training camp so I would be surprised if its announced later today.
