Draft Pick Position - The definitive answer

Okay, there's been far too many threads about this. I am simply asking that the Mods sticky this so that there is a complete answer of where our picks will be. I will keep it updated as various teams advance/are eliminated.

I've tried to make it as readable as possible.

NOTE: Eliminated all of the extra stuff that now can't happen.

Flyers pick

Pick will be 25th

Bruins Pick

Pick will be 30th

So we're picking twice in the 20's. I'm not sure why people here are so obsessed to finding exactly where.

good job on breaking it down though.

Thank you. There is a thread about it every day. Can't really blame people though, everybody finds the draft confusing.

Lets hope Sabres and Hawks win tonight. That will do wonders to us!

Bruins can lose next round after beating down the Habs

I'd much rather get the extra 2nd rounder from Boston making the finals - I don't trust them to resign Kaberle to get it with how he's done. 29+59 > 23.

This is how I feel as well. I think we need Boston to win at least 2 rounds for them to resign Kaberle.

The 2nd rounder is for 2012, not 2011.

They traded their 2011 2nd rounder for Chris Kelly.

After 12 seasons in blue and white, the Maple Leafs have traded the veteran defenceman to the Boston Bruins in exchange for prospect centre Joe Colborne, the Bruins' first-round pick in 2011 and a conditional second-round draft pick in 2012.
Unless you're talking generally which then makes what I said completely irrelevant

Wonder what will happen if Boston doesn't re-sign him but instead trades his rights to another team and he signs there.... I bet Burke didn't anticipate such scenario occuring in the pick conditions <grin>
