Ah, the memories: When the goalhorn got stuck on.

That was one of the funniest times in hockey.

If anyone missed it, during play, the goal horn randomly went off, and was stuck on. The players just like slowed down and stopped played and everyone looked up. For like 5 minutes the officials were trying to turn it off, and in the process, turned it in to a loud skreching sound, so they made it the goal horn again.

They tried to pull the power to the goal horn, but that was connected to the jumbotron, and all the equiptment that records the time. So they turned the power back on, and the horn went off again. They turned it off for like 30 seconds, and everyone cheered, then it went off again. They just said screw it, and unplugged it.

Luckily it happened with only a few minutes left of the game. The officials called out the time on the speakers after every 30 seconds for the players and fans.

Anyone remember who the Flyers played that night, and what date it was on?

I remember listening on the radio, but can't remember anything else about it.

Didn't something like that happen at a Sixers game too?

11/20/2003 vs. the Wild.

That was the game with Jimmy V's marathon fight with Brad Brown.
