Mike Weaver

Hey guys, Kings fan here, just wanted to know what kind of a game Weaver plays? He's small but seems to play tough. . .

Thanks!

Personally I always like Weaver.

He's tough, positionally sound, rarely beat. He has a quick outlet pass and almost always makes the safe play.

Problem: he's a munchkin.

And even at that, he's fiesty and always backing up his teammates. If he was 6'2", he'd be a stud.

Frasier seemed to like Weaver but Hartley never gave him much ice. I think he was a "dead asset" to the Thrashers who seem to be going the route of monster dmen.

Good luck Weaver!

Not really, he doesn't have the offense of someone like Bouillon. With more playing time though, who knows. But I would tend to doubt that Weaver could pick up his offense that much.

He is quite fiesty and a gamer, but that's not always enough to overcome the size factor. Depends on how the Kings would play him.

Scott Stevens mentality in Theo Fleury's body. Heart to spare, but I question his durability as he plays without abandon and well above his God given tools. He's good while the puck is moving and giving open ice hits, but he is not effective against larger players camping down low as he has a tendacy to be outmuscled.

He'll give you his absolute all, but I'm afraid that's not going to be good enough for the NHL. Manchester will love him.
