Montreal - St.Louis

Montreal

Desharnais
Pyatt
Carle

for

St.Louis

McRae
Crombeen

St.Louis would get a 3rd line center with PK and PP experience. Was on pace for over a 40pt season, if we would of played the full season. Carle a cheaper 7th dman option for the Blues or let him walk. He is just looking for a crack at the NHL, he played great in the AHL. Just he is not getting a shot in Montreal.

Pyatt is a good PKer and knows his role on a team. He would be a cheap 4th line player.

Montreal could use both McRae and Crombeen both now. They address a size issue and fill out the bottom 6. It would be good for the cap in Montreal and would help overall.

Stewart McDonald Steen
Oshie Berglund Backes
Perron Desharnais D'agostini
Jansen Pyatt Porter

Reaves

Cammalleri Plekanec Kostitsyn
Pacioretty Gomez Gionta
Crombeen Eller Pouliot
Moen McRae White

Darche

I don't see the Blues doing this as we would have downgrades and a useless piece to us in Carle.

I don't know a ton about Desharnais, but I don't think we are looking for a 5ft. 7in. 3rd line center

I don't think Phil McRae is going to be traded for a quantity return.

Something more proven, or a better prospect will have to be coming to get McRae out of STL

Don't see why the blues would even consider this, but I could see them getting a chuckle out of it.

So Montreal gets exactly what they want and the Blues get it in the eye.

I greatly enjoyed this combination of shock value and imagery.

Quoted for accuracy and hilarity.

Really....Really???

What makes you think that the Blues are looking for (2) under sized centermen that would have a hard time cracking the NHL team in St. Louis. It makes no sense for the Blues to even consider this proposal. And it is not like we can't get better 3rd line centerman in free agency. And we don't lose at least 1 contributing roster player.

Counter offer:

Leblanc + Schultz for Crombeen

That's fair, especially when I only take in the needs for the Blues.
