*Drool* It looks like a little tilt-shift world that you can control. If the actual gameplay looks anything like that I'll be very happy.

I have Cities XL 2012, it's ok (Got it for $10 off of Steam) but it lacks the feel and atmosphere of Sim City.

If they were to release the new Sim City to the PS3, I can only hope that they allow the user to use mouse and keyboard as an option instead of a controller.

Probably something similar to Cities XL. Nearby cities that are run by friends that you can trade with and such, maybe have regional effects like pollution or natural disasters as well.

Could be awesome. Build a ton of nuclear plants and sell power to all the neighbouring cities and rake in the money.

Beat me to it

The timing of me complaining about things lately has been great.
- ***** about the lack of expansion packs for Civilization V...less than a week later an expansion pack gets announced.
- Buy Cities XL 2012 and ***** about how it doesn't compare to the 9 year old Sim City 4...if only they'd make a 5...a couple days later Sim City 5 semi-announced.

Hmmm...RollerCoaster Tycoon 4. A real one (none of that 3DS crap...and even that one was put 'on hold' recently, so who knows if it'll ever actually see the light of day). Actually announcement, not just rumors. Make it happen, world.

Worried that we will just end up plopping down buildings. I think zoning for uses worked very well in Sim City 4 and I hope they stick with it. Even though in the real world I hate Euclidean Zoning (I'm an Urban Planner in real life).

I played the original on SNES as a kid. Loved making giant cities then destroying them.

Good to see they're sticking with zones.

Hopefully, it will be mod-friendly as well.

Maxis sure comes up with crazy technology for their games.
