Very smart of NESN, the television home of the Bruins, to affiliate itself with the radio station that hates the Bruins and with a morning show that is being destroyed in the ratings by 98.5.

Personally I would love for SportsNet to get the B's over NESN next time it's time for a contract. Their pre and post game shows are a hundred times better.

The Bruins own part of NESN, so that's not going to happen...nice try though

I learned long ago that when it comes to Bruins coverage in this state that I will never get what I actually want. It's all good. Can still prefer the Sportsnet coverage to the NESN coverage. The fact that they hooked up with EEI just got me even further away from them. Typically watch Sportsnet pre game, mute the TV and listen to 98.5 play by play, then switch back to Sportsnet for post game.

I dont think the Bruins 20% has much say over the Red Sox's 80%.

I know this isn't the case this year, but CSN teamed up with EEI to bring you "the baseball show"

I've been watching all the videos available on csnne.com and it's obvious just from the clips that their coverage is so much better. Despite the Bruins' success NESN is all about the Sox and I doubt that will ever change.

don"t get me wrong, I've been watching CSN's pre and post too, simply because I like Felger.

Even if you take the Bruins element out of it, D & C are getting killed in the ratings by T & R in all demographics so NESN has latched on to the morning show losers. Plus, who the hell would want to look at those two early in the morning.

Gresh and Zo talking to Ryan Whitney right now. This kid is awesome.

"I would say 90% of the league hates them and doesn't want them to win" -referring to the Canucks
"I want the Bruins to win so bad. Trust me, I'm rooting for them as hard as you guys"

EDIT - also, he's almost 30 so I guess he's not much of a kid anymore

I haven't been listening at all today.

I'm too nervous. I can't listen to the drivel.

Love the people wishing the Bruins were on CSN-NE instead of NESN...you'd change your mind on that about 10 seconds after the first time a Bruins game is put on tape delay because a Celtics-Bobcats game is airing on the channel instead.

And don't give me the Red Sox NESN thing....the Bruins bump them when its late in their season, and the Red Sox aren't even on NESN by the time the Bruins regular season gets going.

NESN's biggest issue is that they don't invest in their product. Now that Kathryn Tappen has established herself, they'll let her walk and back to square one they go.

I thought that when I got up but Gresh and Zo have been pretty loose this morning. The Claude as a character on The Office bit killed me.

Yah but I'm not nearly as rabid over baseball as I am hockey so I don't care. LOL Besides, I'm a NYY girl, no need to pay attention to, listen to or watch anything baseball related in this state. :-D

I don't like Naoko. In all honesty, if they could find a replacement for her that was an improvement I would probably never have a negative thing to say about their coverage. She is truly the reason why I watch Sportsnet pre and post game coverage instead.

I agree. I wonder what Dave Shea is up to these days.

I wish Felger would tell us why harry threw him out of the Bruins locker room.

He must have insulted Jacobs
