Who won this trade?

I made the biggest trade I've ever made in my keeper league last night. Who do you think won this trade?

I traded Theodore, Lalime, Palffy, Gonchar and Hejduk for Brodeur, Hasek, Schneider, Demitra, Modano, Morrison and Weight.

you got burned imo...

You had, Theodore, Lalime, Palffy, Gonchar and Hejduk..

He had, Brodeur, Hasek, Schneider, Demitra, Modano and Morrison

Theodore < Brodeur
Lalime > Hasek
Gonchar > Schneider
Palffy(When healthy) > Demitra
Hejduk > Modano
No one < Morrison

Brodeur and Hasek are better than Theodore and Lalime. You lost there... BIG TIME...

You got Gonchar for Schneider, which is a win, IMO.

I assume you got Weight, he's probably about equal with Brendan Morrison.

Palffy is better than Demitra, IMO.

Modano is probably better than Hejduk.

You definitely upgraded yourself on the wings, at the expense of losing three good centers and only getting one in return. You upgraded yourself on 'd', while significantly downgrading yourself in goal. It's a decent move I guess, depending on what the rest of your roster looks like.

You forget this is a keeper league - he gave up really young stars for players in their twilight

You lost this trade big time, dude.

You have to reread the trade.

you won it, you got 2 extra good players which is very valuable in fantasy league, you could trade 2 of them if you get too old or have payroll problems

If theres a season this year, those guys all stay healthy and get you the points the used to put up, you win the deal short term. If not, he wins the deal short term. He definitely wins long term but if you win this year, you win the deal. Show me the money!!
I like the trade both ways but I personally like the guys he got better. Youth mustve been his motivation.

Lalime will put up better numbers than Hasek. Hasek wont stay healthy! Lalime is also getting underrated this year! He has 1 bad year and all of a sudden he sucks!
