-Wilkes-Barres signed Chris Barton. Barton has 24 points in 20 games with Wheeling in the ECHL. However, for now he'll stay in the ECHL.

-Eric Hunter and Ben Wilson, respectively played 26 and 24 games with Lake Erie. I'll add them to list of contracts, because they have both been on the roster since the start of the season.

-Hugh Jessiman isn't signed by Lake Erie. He signed (another) PTO this weekend with Lake Erie

-I'll add Mike Kompon to the list of players released from their contract. Kompon left Lake Erie to play in Germany a few weeks ago.

JP Côté released from his PTO, signed to an SPC by Norfolk.

According to theahl.com, Igor Gongalsky was released from his PTO. However, I got no information about Rome.

If you got a link, I'll add Rome to the list

By the way, he just found that CJ Severyn is signed to an AHL contract by Abbotsford

Gongalsky wasn't released, he's been assigned to ECHL Gwinnett, Rome has been signed to an SPC, according to the Pirates thread on the Phoenix forum.

The only information that I found concerning Gongalsky's contract said that he was released. It's coming from a credible source, AHL's official website :
http://theahl.com/stats/transactions...&f_team_id=310

However, I'll add Rome since he has played over 25 games. I also did my little research
Quote:
AFTER LAST WEEKEND'S trip, the Pirates signed forward Ashton Rome to an AHL contract.

Rome, brother of former Portland Pirates defenseman Aaron Rome, was originally signed to a 25-game professional tryout contract.

"It's hard to be (on) a PTO, every day fighting for your life," Edwards said. "Because he had a real good weekend, we had to make a decision and we decided to keep him."

In his first 25 games with the Pirates, Rome had three goals and an assist.

--------------------------------------------
By the way, TJ Fast upgraded his PTO to an SPC with Hamilton

--------------------------------------
The "What's left!" list
Oklahoma : Kirill Tulupov ?,
Portland : *Ryan Hollweg ?
Wilkes-Barres : Cody Wild ?
Worcester : Ryan Del Monte ?,

Hollweg has played 25 games this season with Portland, if he plays on Saturday. I'll add him to the list.

One player I noticed not on the list on the first page is RW Aaron Boogaard. If you look at the Houston Aeros transaction page on AHL.com, he is listed as having signed a SPC with them on October 28, 2011 and on the same day being loaned to the CHL team Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.

Well, he was still signed by an AHL team, so I think it still qualifies for this list. He is the property of an AHL team.

Garrett Suter should also be listed for Milwaukee:

http://www.milwaukeeadmirals.com/mob...2010/01/092811

"Leaderer, Cahill and Suter all have signed two-way contracts with Milwaukee and ECHL Cincinnati. That leaves Trupp and Marvin as, really, the only “tryout” guys here."

Found another one. Add Brad Phillips to Adirondack:

http://poststar.com/blogs/phantoms_f...cc4c03286.html

Quote:
Rounding up one more stray signing that likely happened earlier in the summer, goalie Brad Phillips, who started the rookie game, will play this season under an AHL contract.

Unless both Johan Backlund and Michael Leighton aren't on the opening night roster, Phillips will likely start the season with Trenton in the ECHL. Of course, as we learned the last few years, he'll probably be called on at some point in Adirondack.

Added Boogaard, Phillips and Suter!

I did a little research to see if other players fell through the cracks and I found another one. Scott Fleming was assigned by Portland to Gwinnett in the ECHL which means to he is signed to an AHL contract

Depends on how it's structured, whether it's a 1 way or 2 way contract....

With the AHL in its All-Star break this transaction isn't listed yet, but Worcester has released Brian O'Hanley from his PTO and signed him to an SPC.

I see that there is still some question about Ryan Del Monte...I'm pretty sure he's on an SPC but I'll try and run that info down sometime this week.

Any link about O'Hanley?

In Del Monte's case, it's been confirmed that he is signed to an SPC.

Actually, whether it's a 2-way deal or not has nothing to do with it. Keith Aucoing & Joel Rechlicz are both on 2-way deals, and I can guarantee you their AHL salaries are nowhere close to each other.

I'd love to see what the average is, but it'd be skewed by the few really high-enders. If I had to guess, I'd put the average somewhere in the $60,000 - $ 70,000 range.
